  1. Well done Andy, I had a £1 reverse tricast with the two and F&G, plus £2 on CV and the £5 e/w I had on Opinion Poll. Potentially better off with CV winning though, as if Fast or Free wins I'm on for about £400 from my 50p e/w yankee! Come on Ryan you angry little man. Get him up!
  2. Who's running this offer? I got a similar thing from SportingBet on the first day, but they seem to have stopped that it now. Aye it was SportingBEt. HAd to blag them to even get my bet for today, as the offer apparently stopped at 12pm yesterday. Whinged once to an operator and they just give me the 20 quid
  3. £5 e/w on Opinion Poll. The ground is soft on the round course apparently. Won't suit CV or F&G so you never know. Should at least get placed.
  4. Nice. Just a shame fecking Sportingbet don't give you best price guaranteed. Could have got 8s with BetVictor, but used my freebet on Princess Highway. Got 13/2 in the end.
  5. Agreed. According to the missus old man (works for Darley), Frankie is really keen on Colour Vision and asked to switch from Opinion Poll. Read that there is no genuine front runner or pace in the field, so might not be a true test. CV finished like a train in his last race, which would maybe suggest this could play into his hands? As you say though, doesn't look like much of a betting race. F&G too short, but his form in the book on the others. Maybe a small reverse tricast with F&G, CV and Saddler's Rock? Doubt it would pay much mind.
  6. Gone for a small bet on Vow EW. In regards to The Fugue, I'm not so sure. Had some tough races already this season. This will be her 4th Group race in about 6 weeks, she won't like the ground any softer (think more rain is forecast) and I'm not keen on the Epsom form, that race was a farce and I personally learnt nowt from it. Not saying she's a lay, as she's arguably the best filly in the race. Would just rather take her on with a bit of value. Looks wide open, Shirocco Star has sound form, Momentary, Vow.... even Colima should run better than her price suggests. There are lots of chances, in a quality looking race. Just think 9/4 ish is a bit short. Gone with Princess Highway and a small e/w on Kailani. Still got The Fugue in one of my silly multiples mind.

Doesn't Blanc's contract expire soon anyway? Can't see him getting another one, as he's done nowt in this tournament to suggest he deserves it. Easily beaten by a shit Sweden team and should have beaten us easily. Instead they played with no strikers and tried to out do each other in the pointless passing stakes outside our box. With the players they have available, they should do a lot better TBH. They'll get humped by Spain and Blanc will be off
  8. My selections today. Said I wasn't going to do a load of silly multiples, but that failed : 50p E/W Yankee: Mister Marc @ 7/1 Princess Highway @ 6/1 Colour Vision @ 9/2 Fast or Free @ 9/1 50p Straight Yankee: The Fugue @ 9/4 Fame and Glory @ Evens Tales of Grimm @ 6/1 Nicholascopernicus @ 7/1 Silly, pointless 25p E/W Yankee that would return up to £13k : Annunciation @ 9/1 Momentary @ 10/1 Kahruman @ 20/1 Handsome Man @ 16/1 The 5.00 looks an absolute nightmare. 11/2 the field and I can't split Starboard, Stipulate or Tales of Grimm. Plus Mukhadram won well at Newmarket last time I went and Wrotham Heath is well thought of as well! Been saying Tales of Grimm all week though, so might have my free bet on that. Don't fancy many other singles, but will no doubt drain the pot down backing shit throughout the day. Princess Highway £10 e/w to get me my free bet for tomorrow.
  9. same here, not the worst result ALthough judging by your previous posts, more money staked?
  10. SYT too good. Think CH went a bit early, gave SYT something to chase, bit like Workforce in the Eclipse. Ran well in defeat though and came clear of the field. Had the second and third though and got 22/1 and 25/1 shots (Bonnie Brae and Brae Hill) left in the e/w yankee, plus £2.50 e/w. So hopefully they win and place to claw some dollar back. Still not too down for the week. About £40 overall I think with bets and winnings left to come.
  11. And she's married to Sheikh Mohammed. Not for the money of course Only done £30 on Carlton House in the end and a £5 s/fc with SYT to beat CH as a bit of a saver. Fuck that though, come on Queenie, get us a winner.
  12. This is going well So another place, best I can hope for is e/w trebles and doubles now. Going to pay sod all!
  13. Nrain drifting like a rudderless ship! 7/2 out to 13/2. Something amiss there!
  14. Still e/w on Aljamaheer in one of the yankees, just need the other 3 to win for it to be worth it! When a 20/1 second string wins the first. You do get a bad feeling like
  15. Right that's it, CH is definitely coming last now! Forum gamble
  16. Anyone catch the game last night? If so, how did he play?
  17. Covered both mate, couldn't split Nahrain or Chach. So You Think should win. Just think he's bagged some fairly weak'ish Group 1s and flattered to deceive a lot of the time, well worth taking on at evens IMO. I know you can take it all with a pinch of salt, as horse racing is rigged to fuck and unpredictable. But supposedly everyone at Stoutey's yard are pinning their hopes to Carlton House, working like a demon on the gallops and I read yesterday he destroyed Sea Moon and Fiorente (the latter being a decent group performer) in his last bit of work before this race! David Milnes on twitter said Carlton had 'worked the house down' He's going to come last isn't he?
  18. 2 silly 50p e/w yankees for me today and a big single on Carlton House: Almajaheer @9/2 - keen on this, pissed in ahead of The Nile (RIP) at Newmarket when I went. Nahrain @7/2 - if race ready, this should blitz the field. Class act last year. Carlton House @3/1 - Stoute/Moore fanboy, apparently smashing it on the gallops. Brae Hill @25/1 - loves the big handicaps, 25s seems huge! First 5 places as well. Valbcheck @ 6/1 - Noseda's horses are supposedly sick, giving this a go though. Chacamidee @ 4/1 - hacked up at Lingfield, if Nahrain isn't fit, this should win. Farhh @10/1 - solid e/w claims and want to take on SYT. Bonnie Brae @16/1 - always there or thereabouts, wanted to split the draw bias with Brae Hill as well (6 & 23).
  19. Simenon did the business for me. £7.50 e/w and a 5er on the nose. Only small bets that come nowhere earlier, so about 70 up. £20 free bet on Carlton House tomorrow, plus probably a bit more and maybe a forecast with So You Think. Not really had a look at the other races yet.
  20. Pays 60/1~ Good luck Stu. Carlton House is my banker for the week, s*** or bust on him tomorrow I reckon. Frankel is a machine! Time to step him up to 10f now. He's by Galileo and would surely stay, has far too much class for any horse around at the minute. Surprised Cecil won't be stepping him up in trip until the Juddmonte. Nowt left to beat over a mile. F/C with Excelebration was like printing money. So I had a pound on it

Not one of the players sang it the other night so I made a point of watching again tonight, again none of the players sang it. Any reason you reckon? I know not all of our players always join in when singing God save the Queen just seems a bit strange than none of the Spaniards opened their mouths? 22. Get £2m in for Simpson pretty much in the bag, offer £5m ish. If we could manage that, it would be a superb bit of business. A massive upgrade on Simpson for around 3.5 million quid. Perhaps they are waiting on someone to actually show interest in Simpson? WOuld guess we'll up our offer either way. Come on QPR, make a bid FFS!
  23. Anyone who has the sportingbet app on their phone, stake £20 on one race at Royal Ascot all this week and get £20 free bet the following day, applies all week I think. I've had £10 e/w on Cogito in the 3.45 to get this. 22/1 so hardly hopeful Anyone backing Noseda's horses, supposedly his yard has a virus at the minute, so I'd be careful with that. Not done much today, a few £1/£2 bets on races with BetVictor so I can watch on my Iphone. Gabrial & New Pearl e/w double and e/w singles. If I manage to win anything at all I fancy that Simenon in the staying race later. Did Veiled last year, but no prep run and recent form has put me off, hopefully don't regret it if I back the other one.
  24. Yep, Frankel and BC need to be in a treble with at least a half decent priced fancy. What did you get on Frankel Stu? I see it's 1/6 pretty much everywhere now Think BC, Frankel & Fame and Glory(Or Bated Breath if as expected it dodges the Aussie) is a good price. Edit: Fame & Glory has been backed right into 11/10(was 5/2 last week) Just put a few quid on the four of them at 31/5 Not sure, but I thought there were ground concerns over Bated Breath? They're saying it's good to soft, but I reckon it will be closer to soft on the day. I reckon they blag these going reports at times!
