Glad he's back fit. Shame he'll be starting right wing.

Nailed it.

Ask him about the poll Garrincha that is the majority of the NUFC fans is it not?
-
My post didn't make it up there. Pretty much asked if R.Taylor and Obertan were better options on the wing? Booting the ball 70 yards is a form of giving the ball away. Obertan passing it straight to the full back is also a form of surrendering possession.

No, just some mongtard on there. Lee Ryder: He considers himself as a striker or second striker. That's his stock answer. I asked him on twitter next time he gets an interview with HBA, ask him if he is happy to play out wide for us. The above was Ryder's response. When I then said, well would he prefer to play out wide or sit on the bench, he didn't reply. Fucking bollock headed twat is Ryder. Such a bell end.

I did for 5 minutes but it hurt my brain. He's too slow for the Premier league apparently and Ryder is yet again blowing smoke up the arse of R.Taylor...

Still a kid that used to be an attacking player, new to the league and doesn't speak the language. His positioning is questionable (well terrible basically) at times, but he has a shit load of ability. Just to repeat what everyone else is saying. Sign a left back, stick Santon at right back.

Maybe Pardew is just stubborn? Adament that he can't/won't play on the wing, when his two best NUFC performances have been when playing out wide. Re jigged the entire formation to try and accomodate him and then didn't even play him in his preferred no.10 role. Plays Obertan and Raylor ahead of him on the wing. I suppose they have the 'relish' to play there do they? Madness. Don't have many gripes with AP to be fair, he's doing a great job. But his treatment of HBA so far has been one. Really unimpressed by the whole carry on, he's not had a fair crack of the whip and the players that have been getting minutes ahead of him are poor/average footballers. Fingers crossed he plays against Wolves. Although with AP's post match comments about '3 of our 4 first choice midfield missing' (assuming Raylor, Cabaye and Tiote) I doubt it.

Yep. Barring Man City away, Norwich away (due to the defence) and Liverpool away, I have been confident of getting a result in every game we have played this season. Going even further back to the relegation season, I remember almost dreading the home games when I got to the ground, just knowing it was a matter of time before we conceeded. Turning up for aways saying "I'll be happy as long as we score so I have something to cheer about." We've come a long way. Just got to keep it up until the end of the season.

If Turner and O'Shea are the starting centre backs for the derby, I fancy us to score at least 2. So immobile and clumsy.

Geremi was gone by the time we played Ipswich at Portman Road and SJP I thought? Aye, it may have been a different game. He didn't leave until 2010. Ipswich at home was after he left. Was last home game of 2009/10 season. Yes, I'm aware of that. He mentioned the game at Portman Road. Yes you're right. He didn't play at Portman Road though, he barely featured at all did he? Few games at the start of the season and that was it.

That's what that is I know the spurs fans sing it for Ekotto and din't we used to sing it for Sib? I've always heard the mackem one as just "errr ah oh ah errr ohh ahh" literally can't make out any of the words. Fucking tramps. Heard us singing this for Cisse at the match and on the highlights.

Poor Besty Just hope that HBA is promoted to 3rd choice forward (depending on circumstances obviously). Shola getting more game time is a shit thought.
-
Ipswich away we sort of played it, with Nicky Butt in midfield

What? Who mentioned a few yards of space? Did you watch the Villa game? Or any game we have played this season? How often do you see Jonas or Ba standing still when we have the ball? They are always moving, keeping the opposition on the move so the pass is always open for them and look to bring teammates into the game as a result. Ba, hardly ever. Jonas, often. You think Ba stood still against Villa? Wow....... Other way round, I've edited my post to make it clearer.

Although since his little spell playing in the 4-2-3-1, his movement has improved. Doesn't always stand on the full backs toes and only sprint when in possession now.

Still think we might be being just a bit premature here. If he still doesn't get into the team on a regular basis by the end of March/early April, then I will start worrying

Tiote and Cabaye vs Vaughan and the car vandal. Going to be tasty as fuck that midfield battle!
-
Has he started more than 3 games in a row for the club? Even then he's either got snapped in half or subbed at half time or near the end of the match. Man City, Man U, Chelsea. Fulham, Brighton, Blackburn. Everton, Stoke?, Man City. Just seems mental that he's never got a chance in a set position or over a period of games. If he gets 5-10 games in a row before the end of the season and looks poor, then fair enough. But we haven't seen enough of him to judge properly IMO. Especially when you take into account the injury, not used to the league, change in formation, players missing, style of play etc etc. Would like to think eventually he can fit in somewhere. Just hoping in private Pardew has asked for his patience until next season when we sign a better full back. Or sit tight until Tiote and Cabaye are back and he will see more game time. I couldn't believe it when we signed him and he is the sort of player fans pay good money to see. Fingers crossed it works out, you know he'd leave and end up being class for someone else

I'd rather have a dark green accomplished Ben Arfa there, than a bright green natural Obertan.
-
 I know he is a scapegoat a lot of the time, but I really don't rate him. This observation is spot on!

Just don't get it. Was there a risk of him being permanently out of the first team? He makes it sound dramatic and definite. Wouldn't worry too much about it. I like the bloke but he has an odd turn of phrase and says some right shite in interviews. "54, 53 thousand Geordies or whatever it is" "We WAS unlucky today" "We didn't have that burst in the first half, when you lack burst, you're always going to struggle" "The Ameobi's are lovely lads and you know err the Ameobi's are well and dusted at this club" Just some off the top of me head that had me goosed and laughing when I heard them
