There's so much wrong with that post I don't know where to start, so I won't.
-
Bottom line, the club are not going to do anything that Eddie isn't 100% on board with, there's no CEO or MD to overrule him, there's only Eddie when it comes to the players. His demeanour towards the snake had really changed in his last PC, I reckon it's nailed on he wanted him gone. AND if we told him to forego his bonuses we've got near on £140 Mill, it's the third highest transfer of all time FFS.
-
Agree with that, although the ongoing noise about stadium/training ground iritates me somewhat, in that these things take years, and we can't expect weekly updates, both will happen but it takes a lot of time. We're football fans not architecture supporters, what happens on the pitch is ALL that should matter and in that regard we're the best we've ever been.
-
How are they responsible for that, this is ALL on Isak. Grow the fuck up.
-
That's the last thing we want, surprises are the best without the twitter/media noise.
-
How do we know this is all PIF? Eddie's demeanor at his last PC was significantly different when on the snake subject and we have no idea of the feelings within the wider squad, although the performance against the scouse is a decent hint IMO. The "worse than Ashley" comments are laughable/pathetic.

It’ll never happen contracts for players are standard in terms of obligations and apart from the money bits are agreed with the PFA
-
I suspect they're protecting their assett in case they sell him.
-
Not played, but he was available for selection.
-
Oh so Isak's been training and is available for selection, must have missed that 🙄
-
Oh boo hoo hoo, who gives a shit.

Two situations are completely different: Case A: Players ducks friendlies with injury (in pain but scans clear) Player ducks tour with aforesaid injury Player fucks off to train in Spain without permission. Media circus ensues (probably a directed circus) Player states want's to explore options. Media circus intensifies. Player states via 3rd parties wants to leave for Liverpool. Liverpool lowball offer. Player goes on strike. Player issues me, me, me, statement. Case B: Player comes to understanding with club (evidenced in writing allegedly) to explore options. Player identifies new club and club makes "fair" offer. Brentford reject offer/raise price. Player throws toys from pram and quits training camp. Further offer received/rebuffed and Brentford state nothing possible until replacement sourced. Player resumes training with team. Replacement acquired. Further offer made - rebuffed because "oh we didn't mean THAT replacement". Player still training. Brentford quote thoroughly ridiculous asking price. Player still training. Player issues respectful (to club and fans) and detailed statement. Just utterly incomparable, player shits on a club v club shits on player.
-
Why should he show you fuck all ?? That statement is very balanced and respectful (compare and contrast). Wissa's also been training with the team. Sign him up (not for £65 Mill mind) and screw the pearl clutchers. We're not here to be popular we're here to compete. Plus we haven't undertaken any campaign through media placemen to keep the pot boiling.

£65 Million for a 29 year old (nearly) even if he had 3 years left on his contract is an unreasonable ask IMO but with 10 months left it's outrageous..

“During these conversations, it was confirmed to me and my representatives that the club would not stand in my way if a reasonable offer was received. This was also put in writing. Completely different to Isak if that's the case. How folks are reacting like it's just the same as the rat is beyond me.
