  1. I hope new guy knocks fan consultation on the head, whatever they do the fans will argue over it, fine for the badge thing, although we were never consulted previously when it changed, but the massive project that is a new ground, just fucking do it and maybe let fans decide the name. Involve the fans and some will want a say on the taps for the bogs. As a rule us cunts, as a group, couldn't agree what colour the sky is, whatever they do, there'll be ructions from some, fan consultation ? utter waste of time.
  2. It's hilarious, "we need a new CEO" scream the hordes. "Don't like him, it's shit, he sounds just like a CEO" scream the hordes. At the level we are aiming to operate at I hope he's an ultra CEO tbh.

Sincerely doubt it, if they make £50 a shirt (I have no idea what the real margin is) they'd have to have sold 80,000 of them.
  4. You mistake is believing Taylor, Stavely herself said it was bollocks in an interview.
  5. Gordon was chased down the street by feral scouse mackems to be fair.
  6. What utter nonsense 😂😂😂😂
  7. PIF's infrastructure bloke joined the board, didn't he ? Edit - Roger Thornton, not PIF but a new developments guy.
  8. Any CEO would want oversight of any major infrastructure project he's going to be responsible for delivering, ours got ill and the replacement isn't yet in place (which is lamentable) that'll be the hold up. I really don't understand why folks are getting so uptight about it, it'll happen.
  9. Well in fairness the now Mrs Tonali was well impressed when she first saw it with him when he signed.
  10. This. New CEO will absolutely want some oversight/approval of any of the plans as he's the bloke who's going to be responsible for delivering it. So that'll have delayed things a bit. I am totally chilled about the whole thing, these things take years.
  11. Exactly, there's a difference between a preference and a rule. I also think that preference is simply because due to PSR we can't afford costly mistakes, if a player is proven in the PL it's less of a risk.
  12. £25 Mill left of his amorticised fee (63/5) £6 Mill sell on fee to Sociedad = £99 mill left. Agent fees are paid by the buyer. Plus £18 mill saved over next 3 years in rat wages. All our signings up to and including Woltemade were within our existing PSR headroom, even Wissa could have been tbh. It's a huge positive injection.
  13. We clear circa £90-100 Million, so aye, definitely shit for PSR 🙄 that's before the £6 Mill a year wages we're not paying him.

A fact that is glossed over by the "organically grown" bullshit, they've always been massive spenders and were financially doped before it was a thing.
  15. Preposterous - Our incomings have been at market rate (exc Wissa) and Kelly's out was tremendous value.
  16. Or sticking to contracts like 99% of players do.
  17. Rubbish, we were/are covered for all our signings before the rat fee comes into it.
  18. So basically (if Hope and others are to be believed) all in all we've cleared £140 Mill ish. That's excellent work.
  19. We'll have done what Eddie wanted in the end, there's no-one to over-rule him on player matters.
  20. That pre-supposes that our other players have the character of the rat, a player who HAs done what few anywhere have done before. That's somewhat insulting IMO.
