"He's done so well in the circumstances"
-
He oozes negativity, and there's no doubt this rubs off on the players as well. There's no belief, very little passion, and the obvious, no organisation. All of which are a managers job. He's stolen a living for long enough, this game has to be his last in football, he's a waste of space. Fuck off, Bruce.
-
Jesus christ.
-
I thought about this, and I'm going to give a massive benefit of the doubt that perhaps Bruce was shocked by the situation with the poor fan. Otherwise, it's absolutely shocking how little interaction he was having with the players, absolutely clueless.
-
Has to go. Sick of him making this all about him, how hard done he's been. He's the last remnant of an era we'd all like to forget and move on from.
-
Was just about to say this. Fingers crossed
-
Bruce just standing there not having a clue
-
Nuno having a fucking laugh here?
-
We just look SO slow, I don't get it. Well, I do, fucking training once a month doesn't help does it
-
Holy shit we're awful
-
Yeah, initial buzz has worn off now for the fans and players. Need Bruce gone immediately after the game to be honest
-
Fuck sake
-
Players are clearly thinking about their futures seriously now, what a difference.
-
UCKING GET IN! Haven't celebrated like that in so long
-
This is fucking brilliant. Hope everyone there is having an amazing time
-
I seem to remember them being quite nice under Scolari for like a month, but that is a very hazy memory
-
He really does, can only assume he's upset at not getting that huge pay-out yet. Fucking arsehole.
-
I wanted him gone, of course, but this statement is actually really refreshing. Spouting pure speculation here, but I think the changes that need to be made at the club are so vast, it's almost like "where do we start first." So keeping Bruce at the helm for a week or so probably just took a bit of pressure off while they sorted out a whole list of other issues. I want us to win, because we've got our club back.
-
Come on. Today. Please
-
This has been really poor. Lacking ideas as usual, same old story.
-
yeah, fair point
-
He's a complete mug, I'm sure he'll regret not taking this job more seriously once he's retired.
-
So desperate for this thread to be updated with official confirmation that this fuckwit has been binned off
-
Think this is quite telling, saying the players have their fullest support. No mention of that fucking whopper in the dugout. Bruce surely sacked soon

I was just finishing secondary school when Ashley came in. My Dad and I went up to St James' together for the first time (we lived in South London which is why it took me so long.)We won 3-2 against Everton, Barton addressed the fans I think. Thought we were gonna be in for some good times. Then relegation happened soon after, and I was sick to my stomach. I didn't talk to anyone at work for about 2 days I followed us up and down the country in the Championship season, I actually enjoyed it a lot. At this point, I assumed Ashley would be gone and things would change drastically. Then came the following season. Losing Hughton and Carroll was the start of the demise for me. Yes there were bright spots, like Ben Arfa, finishing 5th and so on. But my passion eroded season after season seeing our best players leave and that dickhead Pardew stink up the touchline. To cut a long, and miserable story short, by the time we lost Rafa I'd all but given up. Didn't post here at all, barely watched games. My love for football as a whole had all but vanished. So to get that feeling back, of actively coming here again, being excited. It's fucking magic.
