I was fuming that he even took the shot on in the first place

Fucking joke man. Every week we're talking about officials though, it's getting ridiculous.

They seem to beat us at their gaff quite a bit Although Ben Arfa will score, if he's played. Loves a goal against them

Those predictions -
I think he was a better striker for us, because he didn't overthink things like you say, he just used to hit it At Man U I found he used to take an extra touch sometimes which would cause him to miss, but his all round game play definitely improved.

Yup - and Gouffran has the work-rate to cover for Santon who'll be pushing up. Hatem MAY not, so in that case -- Alan f***ing Pardew needs to charge Sissoko with that duty - cover for Debuchy/Hatem and get forward when you can. It can just become a 4-4-2 when defending. Gouf covers Santon at LM, Moussa slips into RM and covers Debuchy. See I really like this idea. Just read an interesting part in Zlatan's book where he was being told how to defend from the front by certain coaches at Ajax, but van Basten turned around and said you shouldn't be expending your energy on defending, use it to attack. Which is something that's stuck with him. Now I'm not saying Ben Arfa and Zlatan are in the same league, but I believe the same principle applies. Hatem hurts people when he's going full tilt at them, if we're asking him to defend he's wasting his energy and time tbh. I know the team needs to defend as a whole, but we can reduce the strain on Hatem by using the idea JH mentioned above. I'd love to see us try it.

Oh on Sky as well. Good then. -
Christ yeah, seems a lot of our mob are full retard on twitter.

Yesterday could turn out to be a very bad result for sunderland if Moyes gets any reaction from them. Under Ferguson you could just wait for a Sunderland trashing. Not too sure now. Duno so much, Fergie always seemed to play a (relatively) weak side against Sunderland, proper irked me

So true. The whole "he doesn't work hard enough" is a load of bollocks and as for being greedy, can you blame him when everyone else is standing around with their thumb up their arse?
-
Gutted that I blew my fucking knee out for this. Have a good time boys!
-
My Charlton supporting mate was banging on about how Ben Arfa wouldn't start if he was manager and how he's so greedy etc, so maybe it's a Charlton thing?

Or when the haters accept it was their tactics he won with Relying on individual brilliance is some tactic brett. Nice deflection though. He's had some brilliant tactics this season, he's had some s*** ones, all part and parcel of being a football manager. End of the day his good or bad tactics have us in a solid league position with a nice points total 6 points off a champions league spot after the half way stage. Can go into detail and say he's beat the good teams then lost against the poor and all that but it doesn't matter who you pick points off as long as you pick them up. Suarez has scored majority of his goals against the bottom half sides, does it matter he hasn't scored agaisnt the big ones? No because he's still picked up an impressive amount of goals. So if we have an impressive points tally off the top and not the bottom, as long as the overall points tally is impressive that's the main thing. My point being when do we ever go out and actually give a team a beating really go for them by the throat and try to out play them. Few weeks ago against Palace. Not many teams have managed to do that to them but we did. I remember you shitting yourself thinking we'd be lucky to get a draw before that game

He seems to be a manager with no real long term plan, which is why I believe he can get the odd good result, such as Chelsea this season, because he takes games in isolation and looks to nullify an opposition first and foremost. Relying on the players to carry him to victory has been a staple of his time here, asking his team to take the game to the opposition is where he gets found out all the time. Makes me sick because we really could be a good side. This is why I don't rate him, because he can't make us a cohesive attacking force because he doesn't have the bottle for it, or maybe the tactical nous. Either way he's a fraud who seems to believe himself to be some sort of managerial genius. Unfortunately if he goes I don't believe we'll get anyone much better. Great times!

Assuming it's Shola in a bikini?

Better order yaself a nice curry before then mate cos it's going to happen

That's because our league position and some results suggest that he is doing a good job. When in reality anyone that has watched us all season and the last two will easily come to the reality that we are in this position in spite of his negativity and mindless decisions. How laughable is it that we are truly shocked when he does getting right (ie against manure). It's not a good sign when that is the only game in recent memory that he got it right all the way through a game. Just like our fifth place a couple of seasons ago, we haven't got there through consistent fluid play, we have ridden our luck, been held up by goal scorers that are on form and performances that go against the way Pardew negatively sets us up. I am not naive enough to think we can go out and attack 90 mins every game and sometimes grinding out results playing ugly is a necessary part of the game. However it has been nearly four seasons and I am yet to see us look confident and flowing as an attacking unit. Despite constant assurances of Pardews love to set up attacking sides. It doesn't matter who we play we have very rarely come out of the starting blocks raring to go and hurt the opposition attacking wise. Even more rarely have we sustained that throughout a half, let alone a game. Pardew might feel his style is justified given our position now and two seasons ago. He also somehow believes that we do play a good attacking brand of football. What a sheltered football education he must have received. Facts are less and less fans will be willing to pay to watch the dross he puts out every week, moreover results won't make a big difference we are so uninspiring. Mediocrity and sustaining our position in the upper middle of the league is what Ashley clearly wants, in keeping Pardew he will likely get it. What he will also get is a huge fucking hole in the clubs pocket because less and less people are interested in watching this utter bile Pardew calls football. The last game I remember us having a real go and attacking all the way through was West Brom away in the 5th season. Delightful stuff that day, criminal that we haven't come close to it since. Despite us all knowing how shit we/the regime are, people will still go to games. For example in another tab I'm looking at trains to get up for the derby game Ashley knows the fans won't just walk away. The cunt.

Such a joy to watch Arsenal compared to us
-
Sounded like he was creating stuff out of nothing as usual. He's so good it honestly upsets me that he isn't first name on the sheet.
-
On the plus side, he's encouraging me to go for my coaching badges. If Pardew can be a manager, surely anyone can.
-
No doubt all his fault I imagine he didn't take his chance to shine. Good job shola is 'terrific' Yeah tbf Shola only booted it out of play once today, great by his standards.
-
Him being picked to start is just further indication of how behind the times and clueless our manager is. I like Shola as a man, he seems great. Unfortunately he isn't cut out for starting PL games.
-
I am fucking sick of this mentality that we're a small club these days. Ashley really has tried to make us as poxy as his business. What's worse is some people actually suck it up whole. Some praise it and point to Leeds/Portsmouth as an example of what we mightve been. We're never going to be what the majority of supporters aspire to while these wankers are in control. Ashley, Kinnear and Pardew. Nothing's going to change for a while and it makes me sick.
-
Didn't watch the game today but I know he was shit.
