there is absolutely no way Rashford could get through the running we demand from our wide players.

Tino at left back is viable imo because his strengths lie in 1v1 defending and his progression comes from ball carrying rather than passing, so it matters less which side he’s on. Trippier at left back on the other hand makes absolutely no sense because you reduce all of his passing angles for progression and he is by far and away our chief progressor of the ball.

it must be so strange for all their fans who started supporting them purely because they used to win games all the time.

how's his finishing so good now Remember how awful it used to be? . You just expect him to score in those situations now.

Completely dominated their midfield. Didn't matter who he was up against he just completely fucking battered them into insignificance.

Great technician. Some cracking passes through the lines and that finish was sensational. Does need to develop physically though. Clearly needs to get fitter, stronger and probably faster too.

I can’t describe how much I love seeing some of these players produce games and nights like this, man. Dubravka, Dummett, Krafth, Matt Ritchie. It’s unbelievable.

Good game from Hall and he is excellent with the ball but clearly has a lot of work to do physically. You can see why he hasn’t played as much as we’d like.

I think he’s looked good considering how long he’s been out for. Already looks a lot sharper than his sub appearances.

Thought he was really good yesterday. Seems to take him a match or two to get back from an injury.

Even when he has a bad game (thought he was fine 2nd half tbh) he’s still the one who successfully moves the ball from less dangerous areas of the field to much more dangerous ones.

think we’ve been significantly the better side but our goals have been very lucky. Think we can get another 1 or 2 here though.
