to emphasise this, this season so far he's hardly getting the ball (which is normal for the 8s in our system) but his creative output and progression is very good still: most through balls per 90 from midfielders in the league also. --- We have to work out ways to get him on the ball in the middle third more I think. Nobody else can play the pass that he made for Murphy's cross on the first goal the other night.

it's a massive opportunity this season with 3 teams going up potentially. We couldn't afford to keep Langley on any longer than we have. Fortunately the teams ahead of us haven't been that consistent either so there's still a chance to turn it around if we can get a high quality replacement.
