Fernandez-Pardo is the one that looks ideally suited to how Howe wants to play in his compilation. We desperately need guys who take the ball into the box and there's only been one guy better at it in Ligue 1 this season, and he's pretty good.

Yeah, I think the jury is definitely still out on whether Thiaw fits the team and the way we're trying to play. He seems good individually on the eye test, but we've been so bad defensively all season and he's been part of it.

I'd assume it'd have been a lot different in terms of shape if Tonali was playing instead of Willock. I honestly have no idea what Willock is doing most of the time in build up, and I assume he doesn't either. Such a tactically inept player. Bruno is on his own in midfield 90% of the time.
