what on earth is going on with Pope, man
-
Joelinton is really running in treacle, man. Can’t believe he’s still out there
-
obviously worked harder than anyone else on his fitness, pre-season performances definitely earned him a start, yet he can’t get ahead of a clearly injured Joelinton. Not a great message for him really.
-
Think Gordon’s been very predictable today
-
Love Big Joe but it is very obvious he shouldn’t be playing today
-
Get our right side and Tonali involved in the build up more. Tonali is the one who’s going to make something happen here.
-
when we smashed them at SJP we pressed them off the park but we’ve decided to sit off here after the first five minutes. Strange stuff.
-
we’re not very good
-
Joelinton is not running properly at all.
-
Would like Bruno to just try keeping it a bit more simple like he did against City in games like this.
-
I’d fancy Wilson to have had two by now, like.
-
needs to be a goal, that
-
Could be a high scoring game. We’re vulnerable in the pockets between our defence and midfield, which they love to exploit; and they are massively vulnerable to transitions - especially pace in wide areas, which favours us.

12 points imo -
fucking hate Klopp, man
-
did he? It was Botman’s error for the first
-
I think Tonali can do this for us eventually. Maybe not Maddison levels of numbers because he plays in a different area of the field, but he plays the ball forward all the time.
-
Amongst the least of our worries today tbh
-
Honestly I thought we were good until the substitutions. They never looked like scoring against us and we had them pinned in their own 1/3, without us really creating good chances or being particularly good with the ball. The subs were calamitous though.
-
Absolutely raging, man. Was almost in tears when their second went in it’s my birthday ffs
-
I really, really can’t get my head around the Tonali/Longstaff sub at all, like. Can’t get over it. Longstaff is a good player out of possession but he’s not someone who helps control a game. The complete opposite of what was required. It didn’t even look like Howe was going to bring him on and then he changed his mind last minute.
-
The losing sub was Tonali for Longstaff.
-
Tonali off was a mistake
-
BDB been fantastic today
-
ah man, that has to be a goal man
