You end up having to sell players you don’t want to. Nobody sensible is going to give them a decent fee for Garnacho given that they’ve made it obvious he isn’t part of the squad and they’ve desperately want shot of him. we always needed another striker in addition to Isak to replace Wilson. I think keeping Isak for a year and using the season to develop Sesko and get him used to the league would be realistic. It’s been obvious all window that we have the funds available.

I’m not convinced at all by what I’ve seen of Sesko, but the one thing that makes me excited by it is Eddie Howe. If there’s a player there then Eddie will get everything out of him.
