His ego relative to his talent (or lack of) is astounding.
-
There haven't been 5 MFs let alone players that have gone for £100m+ in the last few years
-
That's sweet and sentimental but not grounded in reality I love Bruno as much as the next man but everyone has a price, 120m (reinvested) would placate any angst from that hypothetical sale
-
Barnes needs to stay, the other 4 would be great to off the books (personally have no issue with Pope as thestarting keeper, and Bruno at that price w his age is a no brainer in the FFP era)
-
yet still miles better than who ever his backup will be
-
They are missing both Maddison and Kulu. It's yours to lose.
-
That Jan window in its entirety was incredible. Every single one (bar Woods) over performed even on the most optimistic expectations
-
Under 70% as a professional top level CB seems unfathomable to me. Top (Bottom) 3 are very surprising to see.
-
Guehi addresses an immediate need. The other two are cold as well and I'd happily welcome them but an athletic & experienced CB is essential imo (alongside a RWer)
-
This is childish and petty. They are 16th/17th, winning the UEFA cup wouldn't overshadow our season, where we've won a trophy and could potentially have a 2nd place finish. The UEFA cup win is a nice cherry on shit show of a cake. More so for Man U. Palace over City for obvious reasons, you'd expect Newcastle fans to be able to empathise with their position.
-
Rather Spurs, Man U could be in real terminal decline without CL money and status. They'd be able to fire their fraudulent manager and potentially get things sorted top down.

He's 19, not everyone is going to be Cesc or even Jude to a lesser extent. It's extremely hard to be ready as a CM at that age. He clearly has talent, needs time to develop. More playing time/loan out (feeder club pls) would help massively.
-
nil chance, Villa are in. We just have to handle business, all in our hands.
-
Good result all things considered, just gotta handle Chelsea at home
-
yes, 100% The DCL champions will say no though
-
Mbuemo is the only one for me, would be overly content with either
-
Much more athletic otherwise less talented (technique/finishing/game sense)
-
This is sad if true, that league used to boast the likes of R9, Crespo, Shevchenko, Seedorf, Adriano to name but a few. What a tragic falloff.
-
Watched this dude for almost a decade in the Prem, he's not a good player. Congrats on whatever improvements he may be showing in Italy but let's relax on the revisionism. Not long before someone suggests we should sign Anthony.
-
I agree, he aspires to be mediocre
-
Ross Barkley was coming off a season where he performed well for Luton, injury free no less. I'd have no problems whatsoever with that type of signing on a free. DCL is a poor to mediocre striker who's always injured having scored just 13 goals over the last 3 seasons. There upside is minimal, the downsides are practically guaranteed. If we're serious about being a regular Top 6 outfit, push for Delap at £30m or looking elsewhere. You're letting his 'free' tag cloud his actual worth.

what do you think a hypothetical synopsis of DCL would read like after 2/3 seasons here? Perhaps you might understand my lack of excitement.
