?? surely he lines up next to him?

We have the best striker in the league Contract extension this summer (or sooner) has to be priority
-
it's rubbish, he was an highly touted regular for Milan as well as an Italian international replacing Sean Longstaff
-
ofc we would, we've been in far worse situations with nothing to show for it
-
this is rubbish, Howe was being over pragmatic getting him bedded in. I'm glad we're finally here though
-
Best 6 in the league, imo underrated by some of the fanbase and the wider media
-
absolute stud, one of his poorer games imo (holding him to standard), still not bad showing by any means
-
with no Europe we had an opportunity to finish as high as 3rd (with some hindsight of the inconsistency of everyone outside pool). Still not sure what our real level is, the result at Old Trafford will say a lot , win and Top 4 is doable, anything else and we're still in that 5 -11 purgatory
-
showing some form going to the transfer window, perfect opportunity to flip that into a £25m+ transfer while his pr is high
-
There's a cult like minority who feel obliged to agree with everything Howe does. We might be be armchair managers but you don't need have done your badges to see the stark levels in quality between the two.
-
I'd swap the last two but otherwise agree as the hybrid FWD would likely be a sub whereas I feel we need an athletic starting DCM (I'd push Bruno to the 8)
-
We don't need 11 studs, we'd be spoilt at that point. imo the main issue is that our weak areas are exceptionally weak relative to the rest of the squad (RW, slow CBs/defensive centre) Purely theory crafting but if we'd gotten one of Palmer/Kudus (using them as they sold for < £50m) and a decent CB with pace to pair with either Schar or Botman, it'd change lives. Throw in a good DM (like a Baleba) and it'd start to look special. A tier one player (Bruno, Isak, Hall, Tino, Tonali etc) & a tier two (Joe, Gordon, Barnes, Schar etc) in either position would do wonders. Great players are big level raisers across the board.
-
both our fullbacks are ballers, fair few studs in the team surrounded with some lesser talents. A couple inspired signings away from being Top 4 bound
-
stop undervaluing our players, especially where the buyer is in desperate need £95m/ £70m + a young player
-
70m In world where Rice & Caceido went for 100m, Hojlund & Nunez @ 70m. You guys either don't rate/value Bruno or don't understand the market. Anything under 90m would be criminal
-
He just needs service, our wide men don't offer him that as they lack innate playmaking attributes (both Barnes & Gordon are shoot first, sub optimal passers). Look at how different Haaland looks with or without De Bruyne, not one for one but a similar problem. Luckily, he's able to create for himself & make water out of wine but with half-decent service (and staying off the injury list) he crosses 20+ goals a season with ease.
-
You credit him for the good performances while laying fault for the poor ones on the players, come on. He's either responsible for everything (good & bad) or nothing at all.
-
Correct take. Not to mention, he's the best finisher at the club (and one of the best in the league). Onus should be on the rest of the team to create at least 3 solid opportunities for him per game.
-
You guys are watching a different Bruno to me, he's been our best player all season, very consistent performer.

I'd have one eye on Iraola if I was on the board
