Win and we're legitimately back in the Top 5 mix with a bullish set of fixtures. We're due a great performance and result, really hope it starts here.
-
He was good in transition, that's it. Unless we pivot into a full counter attacking style, expect more of the same from him
-
95% of NOL but history will be re-written
-
he's been shite most of his career is the point, him being shite now should't come as a surprise
-
hey man, I get that's it petty of me but it was cool when insults where being thrown my way while I was trying to discuss football on a football forum no contrition from that end needed though, group presides above all
-
I'm 60% there, sentiments mean little to me

Received all sorts of blowback during preseason from the NOL faithful for stating that both Elanga and Gordon weren't fit for purpose I guess having to misfortune of watching them first hand for our side (given as most didn't view his tenure at Man U or Forest bar MOTD 'highlights') have dampened the disillusions Eddie didn't fix them as promised :/

you guys are finally telling the truth about this guy
-
He wasn't dropped at Arsenal post top 3 finish and relegated with Southampton for nothing. It is what it is, still a decent #2 but should at least temper those claiming he's our best keeper
-
The talent level of top level football has been deteriorated for years (post Pep) substituting skill & IQ for graft, this is the unfortunate consequence.
-
season defining game win - top 6 finish is on the cards lose/draw - mid table purgatory
-
when you're right, you're right

hate to be a pedant but this shouldn't be arguable to any reasonable person the gap between him and whoever #2 might be (pele, maradonna, r9, dinho, cron et al) is greater than that from #2 to #3
-
Him being a 'radge' covers for a multitude of sins. He's painfully mediocre. Would make for a decent wingback imo.

Because he had loads of space to run into. Both he and Gordon, being limited as they are, need that otherwise they are practically passengers. We saw more on ball acumen from Hall in 30mins last night that the pair collectively have shown over the last month. Taking a positive outlook, if we we were to upgrade on either one of the two, ideally both, this team would easily go up a level. Big if though.

the lack of technical ability in our forward line (bar Wolte) is a big reason for the downfall, been fortunate he hit the ground running otherwise things could look much worse doesn't help that both our highly technical fullbacks are injured which severely exposes their limitations as they often carried the load and supported the midfield we'll improve once they both return both ideally I'd love for one of the Gordon & Elanga to be sold and replaced with someone of adequate quality
-
that's a managerial/setup issue, which would imply a certain someone should be appearing in this thread
-
he has zero goals or assists for the entirety of 2025 the boy stinks
-
The away record stinks

non sequitir I have my views as do the scouts, they do not have to align. Their signings in totality have been great over the last 3 years, loads of hits. I do know the club were in for Mbuemo and both Pedro & Ektike (to play alongside Isak) which suggest they view technical prowess as important I have no grievances with Elanga, he's performing as expected. I would be estactic were he to outperform my expectations (as well as his LW counterpart)
