I`m getting to feel that way too. Though I love the Club, Its not my money & if that fat leech is so much of an imbecile to spunk his millions down the shitter by executing such appalling managerial / strategic business decisions, then I hope he pays the ultimate price & looses the fucking lot.
  3. The most amazing thing is, regardless of what we`ve witness to date (This summer) this car crash is only going to get worse....& there's, what 4 weeks? left till the season starts. I honestly believe the majority of people grossly underestimate how badly this club is managed. Can anyone recall this kind of incompetence / chaos of this nature in any other Premier league club, ever?

    Lee Charnley

    He`s on £300k iirc
  5. He might be a shit manager, but he's nowhere near as detestable as Pardew. I would class him more as a rich man's Carver. Quite an affable bloke it seems. If I`m honest I desperately hope he doesn't get the gig not just because he`ll be a cast iron failure, but for his own / families sake. Its clear as day the chances of this ending well are pretty much z
  6. Imagine being head of recruitment at a multi million pound company with no experience of the position you're recruiting for, with a track record of pursuing appallingly bad candidates, all whom which have failed & not only still being in a job, but being entrusted to make another appointment which, on the face of it, looks like being just as bad as the rest.
  7. No fucking way is this anywhere near as bad as that decision. ...Not sure about that mind Mind you...That fucker still gives me nightmares
  8. No fucking way is this anywhere near as bad as that decision. ...Not sure about that mind
  9. Absolutely this. Pulling up on barrack rd in a car that falls to pieces just as it enters the parking bay, communicating on the touchline via miming, Playing Wor Jack in a central midfield "general" captains roll...etc
  10. Stumbled on SSN last night & one of the presenters was reporting that the fans were "split" on his potential appointment, but that as he was a Geordie & Newcastle fan...you get the narrative. The bloke openly admitted to being Bruce`s mucka & was clearly touting him for the gig
  11. Not my choice, if only for the size of his nappa
  12. Barry Bannan...ready made replacement for Perez!,,,,wahey!!! (ahem...on loan, obviously)

    3:1 Skybet!!!!!.....Fuck off man!
  14. Does he not loan it out or whatever? Seems like if you have a plane anytime it's sitting doing nowt is wasted money Privately owned helicopters and planes are usually available to hire. Most owners don't constantly need a plane/helicopter on standby ready to go at a moments notice. Like you said, they're very expensive to buy, maintain, operate and park. I doubt Mike Ashley is flying round the country every day on-board his helicopter. Imagine the MPG with that fat cunt and his reams of denim on board, cost him a fortune man
  15. All of this will hinge on how much Ashleys prepared to throw at him. As people have said many times over, he`s got form for making disastrous appointments
  16. If he Gives fat head the gig, then it looks like its an absolute non starter. That would be not just a body blow, bot a combo of knockout proportions
  17. Why isn't he then? God forbid he does something other than ring the club's main number and ask to be put through to Charnley. The likes of Sack Pardew and Ashley Out showed just how lazy the media are. They laid out at the statistics and facts for everyone to see, it was only then (especially with Pardew) that the media started reporting them. Totally agree...If you`re reporting shit goings on within the running of the club, regardless how you dress it up, if its an accurate reflection & shows the club /owners out to be cynical clowns then the story itself is probably enough to disenfranchise you from any ITK status you might have had. The choice then is surely: Investigate & report the facts (Do your job) or mince around printing benign comment on what the days social media has thrown up.
  18. Give me two of Lejeune anyday btw
  19. There also may not be Clearly in the middle of a root canal or some such
  20. Think only 3 or 4 people on here still think it’d going to happen to be fair I still there’s a fair chance Same man. Far more likely than Ashley staging an elaborate hoax, involving arabs and Companies House, that he didn't need to stage Yep, that’s full on tin foil hat territory Nobody actually believes that it's a hoax/setup etc, just that there's no way Ashley is going to sell. Exactly. Complete straw man. Over the 12 years of Ashley's ownership there have been numerous seriously interested parties, and they have all been disappointed in the end by Ashley moving the goal posts. Ashley or his PR goons don't have to create smoke and dagger scenarios of interest in the club to help alleviate the pressure on them, because the interest is genuine and has always been there. It suits them to keep the media and fans in awaited suspense while they obviously have no inclination whatsoever to go through with any sale, or at least not until somebody puts in an offer that is too good to refuse, because whilst this is the case they can get away with leeching the club for their own interests whilst simultaneously running it into the ground for everybody with a proper affinity towards it. Hopefully though this time he has dug himself into a hole he cannot get out of. If he pulls the plug then BZG need to hang him out to dry. Like he’ll give a fuck. As far as the fans are concerned there’s a decent minority who think Benítez is a mercenary. You can forget any big protest about 3-4 games in, as usual I think they have a point I guess, he never really loved us like Mike does. I mean yeah, ok Mike does beat us around a bit and he's got a nasty temper you know, but I think he`s got our best interests at heart. Anyway, I renewed earlier today & ive treated meself to the new home top & some uber-generous 44 ounce denims. Lifes not all bad
  21. Big Mike has got his cock out on a beach in Bermuda laughing till he hoys up into his penis colada while we all sweat on what increasingly looks like a phantom takeover. I cant wait for this to be locked, for everyone's sanity (Not least mine!)
  22. That's the key as Ashley or BZG would have no say in the matter whatsoever and thus it would not impact on any takeover one bit. Genuine question if he appointed Martinez as the sun is reporting, would you still think it’s going ahead? Whilst there’s still no permanent appointment, there remains hope imo. The moment an announcement is Made appointing anyone On anything other than a short term deal (without reference to any caveat about imminent change of ownership) then this thread is dead
  23. Is it really that unexpected? It has been widely reported that Pérez had itchy feet and we all know Ashley’s love for making a few Bob regardless of the consequences. Wasn’t one of the main sticking points for Rafa that he wasn’t given enough control over transfers? If that’s the case then this is exactly what was expected: f*** whichever desperate dupe they appoint, he’ll be given what to work with and told to get on with it (see “Pardue). As for the takeover, not sure anyone would sit back and see the value of the club diminish after already having agreed a price. He’s just getting on with things isn’t he...I’d be amazed if a deal goes through now. This just looks like every other close season / transfer window now, only worse I know it's easy to say "but it's Ashley, it doesn't have to make sense" but to leave your squad with 1 actual striker (Joselu is not a striker) is beyond crazy, it just makes no sense on any level. My guess is he's looking to buy big in the hope it appeases us on some level - those Joelinton rumours make more sense with this sale. It does, in the sense the morons think we could swap out one with the other. The chances of Joelinton or any one else actually being interested in coming here now is the problem. Let's say there are players still wanting to come here, whixh of course there are. They're only likely to be not good enough or in it for the money leeches we have seen before. You think Ashley thinks we can survive the Prem with inferior strikers? I think Ashley's reluctance to ever spend anything significant on a striker proves he knows full well the value of a striker. This is shaping up to be no different than what we’ve been used to for most of Ashley’s tenure. Get what you can while you can and gamble on replacing with cheaper, (more potentially profitable) replacements then spin the wheel and see if we can stay up. He’s a gambler, that’s his thing. Unfortunately for us, he’s also a vindictive man child who surrounds himself with the kind of sycophants that don’t seem to have either the intelligence or the bottle to take him to task. .
