The most amazing thing is, regardless of what we`ve witness to date (This summer) this car crash is only going to get worse....& there's, what 4 weeks? left till the season starts. I honestly believe the majority of people grossly underestimate how badly this club is managed. Imagine being head of recruitment at a multi million pound company with no experience of the position you're recruiting for, with a track record of pursuing appallingly bad candidates, all whom which have failed & not only still being in a job, but being entrusted to make another appointment which, on the face of it, looks like being just as bad as the rest.

Most owners don't constantly need a plane/helicopter on standby ready to go at a moments notice. Like you said, they're very expensive to buy, maintain, operate and park. That's the key as Ashley or BZG would have no say in the matter whatsoever and thus it would not impact on any takeover one bit. Genuine question if he appointed Martinez as the sun is reporting, would you still think it’s going ahead? Whilst there’s still no permanent appointment, there remains hope imo.
