Not sure it's that simple, unless there is one clear club that a player is desperate to join, and right now. In reality a player will usually have a range of options. like ive been saying before, all these noise from him and his dad about needing to speak to pardew, making all these all so public little statements, speaks volumes, the kid obviously is not that desperate to join us. i personally not blaming him, why shouldnt he wait around for all options to come in, he's only looking out for his own best interest.

people need to start blaming agents, at the end of the day, its the player who employs the agent not the other way round. if a player is desperate enough to join a club, his agent will do exactly what the player demands.

Ajax went in record with the bid being accepted. I guess the press ask Anita&co questions. They answered it honest and fair. As i understands it, he do not want to move at all costs. He is happy at Ajax. But would like a new challenge if the right club is willing to offer him play time at DM, and at a wage that reflects his potential. He puts his career first as far as i can understand, and its a good sign. of course its a good sign... for him. he's clearly open to other offers from other teams, which is fair enough, wouldnt we all if another employer comes after us with a bigger wage packet.

From how highly Ajax seem to rate him I am pretty confident he's going to be a class player. Not like us to shell out big money for a dud these days. But yeah, I'm slightly concerned that Tiote could be sold now.
