But Parker is one of our Brave England Players, he'd never be just a bit meh!
-
Thought he was pretty omnipresent, Oh there's Tiote, Oh there's Tiote, Oh there's Tiote! HOW IS HE DOING THAT
-
Know what you mean but Busquet's passing is pretty damn good, and he starts most attacks, a tempo setter. I think the idea is Tiote breaks up their attacks, passes it to Cabaye who then initiates out attack.
-
We won't go full strength but I hope we have a very strong spine, also hope Abeid, Vucknic etc all have a cahnce too.
-
BRAINDEAD MOMENT sorry meant BUSQUETS :| (think watching spain the other day confused me)
-
Pardew has called him his quarterback so I guess he's designed as a deep lying midfielder, like Ramos at Barca. he's largely going to be deeper than I expected but his tackling is great and he will spark off attacks with great range of passing. We would have conceeded loads more and not scored as many without him, though yes, he does seem to have a great shot in him so would like to see him scoring
-
Think he was probably a bit burned out in totenham game, after 2 international games, hopefully better next week
-
Apparently this was broadcast on the main french sports channel instead of the Arsenal game which would be usual, the times they are a changing!
-
Ooops sorry for doublepost Ridiculous, will never happen pleeeease never happen
-
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/oct/17/foreign-owners-premier-league-relegation Coming from the Liverpool school of terrible ideas that will likely never happen, but really really hope this will never ever ever come to be.

There's still time for ashley to sack Pardew and sell all our players in January
-
This is why I want him just off Striker rather than on wing, on wing he'll receive ball further down pitch and his greed might mean he tries to do too much. Off striker he'll receive the ball closer to net and hopefull start racking up the goals. Need to have patience and get him game time before we can expect great things
-
he's a chelsea kind of player, wouldn't be surprised for a big bid, please please say no. He's way more irreplaceable than Carroll. Him and Cabaye is a partnership that will go places if they stay together
-
Swear I saw him tracking back a bit more, bit of a walcott, will one day race away from a defence, but does it frustratingly little. I think he could be pretty effective against a much inferior defence, and wonder if his presence did pin Kotto back more than he's given credit for, but would want more than just nullifying attacking threat from their fullback. Doubt Marveaux will be on for him against Wigan, and him running against their terrible defence is his chance to prove he can terrorize an inferior backline.
-
If he'd done it earlier might have worked lol
-
He was to the point where he was intercepting attacks in the German league. I'm sure his solid performance had something to do with all the 0-0s in Italy too.
-
Aye, that redeems those comedy comments earlier lol

I don't mind that, but I'm most concerned about Guti being asked to play more centrally, or as part of a midfield 3. if we're going to go for a classic 4-3-3 with fairly fluid roles I think I'd go for Guti Ba HBA (interchangable) Gosling/Abeid Tiote Cabaye (again interchangeable) This is reliant on Gosling or Abeid stepping up. 4-3-3s are reliant on possession play generally, Tiote doing the defensive midfielder role and distrubiting forward to Cabaye or Gosling/Abeid (marveaux perhaps) and keeping possession, then making the passes forward to available forwards. I'm just not sure though that our players are prepared to play such open football where positions are exchanged etc. Defence is obviously the problem, discipline in getting possession back needs to be great, and atm with a slightly more rigid formation we are tough to beat, so can't see the want to change it. Tiote's current form should however allow Cabaye more freedom to venture forward, I wouldn't mine seeing Cabaye as a central playmaker midfielder with Abeid in to develop. HBA can operate on right but with free remit.

Chelsea are as well, Spurs are probably the 4th best team, which will likely be reflected in their final position this season. It's opinions, and like you say final positions will be the proof but I think that Spurs team today had more quality than Chelsea. Don't agree really, Ramires has looked good this season, Mata is class act and I think at the moment they are managed by a more astute manager, (though early days of course, Redknapp is never going to surprise you, Villas Boas likes changing it up a lot, and seems to have brought an urgency to their play). They are lacking a Modric style deep playmaker though whose going to dictate play.
-
Absolutely, if he was in a london team there'd be a bajillion articles on him popping up tomorrow
-
They can't f***ing handle you - he was shouting (I think at Tiote) Was at Jonas, I think. Well it goes without saying they couldn't handle Tiote, nobody handles the
-
He will spend some of the season injured, we knew this when we purchased him (hence the contract he's on), but completely worth the risk at the moment.
-
hahaha delusional, you can see how similar to wolves we are on the league table
-
Was a penalty, well worked by Adebayor who definitely was looking for it but was contact and fairly clear penalty imo
