I'd imagine such an injury gives you perspective, but also there are a million such statements by sulk prone footballers who then sulk again. However since he's yet to do that too us I have hope.
Van Der Vaart then likely to be operating behind Defoe, not really much less threatening, I was happy with him over on the right. Still great news for us, more optimistic about our chances now.
I was wondering if this is going to be the first game where I wouldn't be massively disappointed losing so can watch pressure off and hopefully enjoy a good performance, then realise we will score in first 10 minutes and I will be hugely nervous about holding on for the rest of the match
