Getting the players who want out gone early is probably worth £10m tbh if last year taught us anything
-
Decent profit let's take that
-
Good job to them, we should be embarrassed
-
Seems very much in the vein of no matter what happens we would sue there, arguing Wrexham should get the place for some reason
-
Think a fair number of squad have checked out. Think he may need to call that out and play the kids. It will however mean we lose value on them but the remaining players may need a message. Or we just limp through anyway tbh hardly matters at this point
-
Genuine legend! Sad to see him go but may also be a sensible time.
-
Still Eddie in for me, but he does have to improve, I don't believe he is as inflexible but we just dont have the squad to compete season on season at full pelt, this is like the famous bielsa one season good one season bad thing. I agree some of the alternate coaches mooted would bring fresh ideas, but also they would likely see us as a stepping stone as well. Plenty would have one good season with us and jump ship.
-
I'm not going to advocate for getting rid of him but it is very galling that he's just been unable to get us to look like an 'eddie howe team' all season. It's starting to look like he's struggling to be able to affect things at all.

This, what fucked us was not signing the replacement at start of window. PSR probably part to blame, but we really need replacements through the door 6 months at the least before sale. If no bid came in the club would feel would have been waste but we ended up wasting loads of money on strikers anyway. Shouldn't have gone all in on Wissa whom has proved a total waste of time and brentford rinsed us. I for one still think Woltemade has something and will come good one day when system is different or something and i dont blame club taking a punt, he is young and i think second season under eddie training he can be a beast still.

Sigh. We played great deserved better sigh just one lapse if course gets punished
-
I'd be up for it if the losers got relegated
-
This, i am getting a bit turned off football at now i just can't feel the sputtering rage. I was angry after of course, can't be losing these home games of course, but it's a dud season, no we aren't going to get into europe, the squad is tired, we recruited badly, what you going to do? Under previous regimes you thought things could only get worse, here, meh we'll absorb it and then go again next year. I can't get angry at Howe, it happens.

Yep loads of promise people online be crazy
-
Fair just suggesting they can spend silly just for small chance of avoiding dropping points lol
-
I'm pretty sure trafford was bought to weaken burnley and or us or any other premier league destination.
-
Also pushed out staverley the only person capable of getting players signed early
-
Absolutely terrible at the back, poor mentality little fight miracle we scored at all
-
Yep that's fucked it
-
So begins the man u interim manager cycle again like clockwork
-
They are so weird and disjointed, not long ago they seemed to have a worldie in every position there's a lot of middling players now
-
Id be livid other way around
-
Didn't half make hard work of that

Yes but we need to get ahead of it better, problem seems to me is that every time we need to sell we need to replace, but even replacing beforehand in the same window is not ideal. We should really try and have replacements in the season before to bed into the squad, then we can sell smart and sell knowing we're covered. It's what the other clubs whom are aware players will often be poached do. We seem caught surprised when we overperform while paying players little compared to the traditional rich clubs can afford. We will eventually be able to compete on wages etc but probably not for a few more seasons (Hopkinsons number one in 5 years is a mad goal, i like the ambition but think that's going to haunt him a little)
-
Love Tino but he does have a lot of injuries, however we are a far better team with him in it. We need to learn, judge if he's off, get a high quality replacement signed early and then sell him if happy with that
-
He's still going plenty of development to go in his first season and his goal tally is fine for a striker in first team in a team that has often been poor
