Some of you probably know this, but just looking up on Aubameyang and apparently he spent the 2009-10 season season on loan at Lille so he would have played alongside Cabaye and Debuchy. Didn't think unlike Remy we had an connection in the club towards Aubameyang but it seems like we do.

Said before i'd like a wing-forward and a winger at some point so Obertan doesn't come in so easily But i have not seen anywhere enough of him to make a comment and have concerns that he's a typically hyped young english winger with lots of ability but very little brain. Ala Chamberlain, Zaha, Walcott, Johnson etc etc.

As far as Balon D'or goes i should mention something.... - until 1995, you had to be of European nationality and play in a European league to qualify - from 1995 to 2007, you had to play in a European league only - Only since 2007 is it a world player award So if these rules were in effect in the 50s and before then the likes of Pele would have won many as would many others. Which is why Maradona, Zico etc etc and the likes never won it, doesn't take anything away from Messi but i doubt 4 in a row would be a record if these rules were in place in Pele's day.

Tbf i don't think we will need that many as i'm not sure those below us are capable of getting 40 points but i do understand where you're coming from.

Does anyone know what his favored position is? If its left midfield and we plan to play 4-3-3 then that position doesn't exist, if it's LB then he will always be behind Santon and he doesn't have enough to contribute as a forward. I would definitely send him out on loan tbh, in the summer anyway.

Honestly i think he should play against Norwich, especially with so many key players missing. If Cabaye was fit i might think differently but as it is we don't have much choice IMO. Provided he's fit of course.

Think Pardew see's Marveaux as an alternative to Cabaye i don't think we will see them in the same team consistently. I don't agree with it at all but i get the feeling that's how he sees it.
