He's not really in any kind of form at the moment though. Yes he has had a very good start to the season (eight goals and six assists in 18 games), but he hasn't scored since November and although he was instrumental in their win over PSG his form has really dropped off since and that's the main reason why Saint-Etienne have slumped from title challengers to 10th in the table. Aubameyang is undoubtedly an exceptional talent, but while ASSE would probably initally demand 10-12m euros, I would suspect that they would likely accept around 8m if the right club came along. Interesting, didn't think he would go for any less than 12m tbh. Funny how all the strikers we want are out of form

Think he should have had more opportunities on the left myself, gives proper width going forward with Santon cutting in quite often and a good crosser. Also tracks back well when we are under pressure and covers Santons runs. Thing is Ferguson doesn't offer enough IMO as a forward so unless we are going 4-4-2 i find it pretty hard to find a place for him. I would like to give Santon a rest considering his recent performances but Ferguson isn't exactly any more trust worthy in defence either. I would like to see more minutes for him but find it hard to see where.
