  1. We're a joke like. Parboo out Shitdrew OUT. Prefer Faildrew tbh.
  2. you cant simply say that, theres so many knocks, missed games , the I word im not typing, the african pot, loss of form. endless reasons why you cant just say they will be our starting two- im just hoping they are still here for ferking starters. Oh i know, i'm aware Carroll will start games due to AFCON, injuries, lack of fitness etc etc. Pardew said there will be rotation and this is the case here. All i'm saying is if everyone is fit then Carroll wont be starting.
  3. Rumours going around that Arsenal want Cazorla, would be a class signing IMO.
  4. Why are people talking about where Carroll would play or start? Fact is we need an extra striker but there is no chance in hell of him starting. No chance, he's a plan B and Best's replacement ( if we get him) but that's it. Our best team will still involve Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa and Carroll on the bench.
  5. Can't De Jong play wider though? That's what people like Mole would have you believe, but in reality he really is a central forward iyam. The Twente fan I asked said he can and has played wide of their front 3 frequently. That doesn't make him a wide player still. It is quite usual for young forwards trying to break into the team to first play wide of a front 3. It's how Van Persie started at Feyenoord for example. He may be able to play there yes, but it's certainly not his best or natural position. I never said it's his natural position or he was a wide player, i said he has played there before and can do it rather easily.

  7. We didn't. In fact that's the common misconception about Carroll he isn't Drogba he doesn't bully defenders. What he is very good at is getting on the end of crosses or passes into the box, his timing and his jump is fantastic. That's what we did we passed it around in midfield, then put it outwide and crossed early and often. Hardly hoofball. Also when you consider this, i seem to remember in that 6 game winning streak a lot of times Ben Arfa dribbling outwide and going to the byline and putting a great cross in after a spell of possession. Don't you think Carroll would thrive under that?
  8. We hardly played hoofball when Carroll was here.....we was very direct and crossed a shit tonne but hoofball nah i'm not having that.
  9. Pardew clearly looking for an aerial threat to rotate with our current front line then. Even if it doesnt happen, the trolling of selling him for 35m and getting him back for f*ck all is too funny
  10. No, I agree Although it's mostly for the idea of humiliating Liverplol. The main reason i'm fully behind it
  11. This i'm coming around to the trolling reasons why this has to happen
  12. I think it depends on what bigger team. If we play against say for example Arsenal. I would want to see 4-3-3 because 4-4-2 they would just outnumber in the middle and they keep possession so well enough as it is we cant afford to be outnumbered. Against say Man Utd, then yeah 4-4-2 makes sense because of how wing heavy they are. All depends on the opposition and where the strengths and weaknesses lie, but i do think like most people that 4-3-3 should be the main system because it suits the team the best quite frankly.
  13. Bradley cost Roma 3.75m euros. robbery doesnt describe what Roma have done here, that is just ridiculous.
  14. Tbf when doesn't David Craig spout utter bullocks? it seems that he gets paid just to make up stories tbh.
  15. class. From my experience, it has hard to adapt to new forums so maybe you have a point. Market value ?
  16. Yeah that's the priority for me too. I know Pardew says we will only buy 3 players with the 3rd being a striker, but if the value is there for a player we want then i wouldn't be surprised if we buy Anita as well. If not, there's always other targets or January.
  17. I'd argue Tiote's market value isn't 20m either, but we wouldn't sell him for anything less than that. What is market value and what isn't is of no interest to us and nor should it be, if we sell we are trying to rip off clubs as much as possible and rightly so.
  18. Eto'o overrated? Anyway as for the question no i wouldnt swap Santon for the possibility of Cissokho and Bojan. I'd rather keep Santon and move on to other targets.
  19. That basically explains what i have seen of him, which is about 15 games. ( mixture of CL, Europa League and Eredivisie) In style when i first saw him, who he reminded me of was Busquets although as you say he's more athletic and quite frankly he's probably more comfortable in the final third should he find himself in that area of the pitch. Obviously the fact he can play fullback is a massive boost to us as well if we were to sign him, from what i have seen which is enough to understand his strengths and weaknesses. I feel he has the potential to be a very good player at the very least, and i do expect him to start for Holland before too long.
