Not necessarily, they look suspiciously American. Liverpool glory hunters, would not bang.

SD in looking cheap shocker !

My opinion is similar to most people, i'd like to see him as another option and develop. But he isn't worth 50k and the club are right to walk away from any deal on those wages. Also getting a RB, CB and a striker all more important than Hoilett and that would be the case even if we signed him.
-
So i'm the only one who thinks he's terribly average, and only performs once or twice a season? Fulham could have done a LOT better IMO.
-
Skysports News just reporting this too.
-
Especially when you consider absolute f*ck all has happened so far, it would just be a overload of information that my brain is not used to handling. Luckily i believe in the incompetence of our board

I think we have known for a while that Clyne is one of the back up options to Debuchy, in any case i think we will get Debuchy. He has supposedly made it clear to Lille he wants to join and Lille are not exactly asking De Jong money for him, so i think it will get done.
-
Not the first time we have been linked with him either, we were linked with him when he was 16 too.
-
I bloody hope not, we need a CB and a RB like a fat kid needs a treadmill.
-
He's not slow mate, as i said he's quicker than any CB we have on the books currently. Sakho is quicker but how likely is that? seem's a very fm-tastic transfer to me. Where as Douglas is actually realistic. Although there was news from Le 10 Sport ( same french paper that reported the Debuchy wants to join story) that we are eying Sakho as an alternative to Douglas. It's gotta be BS tho surely ?

Take's note of Cisse's price, add's to team anyway
-
I know it sounds stupid, but 65m euros for Silva and Ibra is quite frankly in relative terms " cheap " Milan should be asking for more IMO.
-
Depends on the circumstance, i know it's highly unlikely but if we were to get to the Semi's or Final of the FA Cup or/and Europa and finish 8th. Would you be satisfied? i think i would tbh.
-
This, if he became available i wouldn't think twice about it. Mind you he's the only QPR player i can say this about. The rest is complete and utter dross. ( and that's being nice)

Yeah or a bigger example.... how much better Barcelona got when they replaced Oleguer with Alves. Attacking fullbacks can make a drastic improvement to teams. If it's obvious Lille wont budge then i hope we pay up, having 2 fullbacks who are like extra midfielders will add so much.

No it doesn't, but 4-3-3 allows you to keep the ball better and have a better balance between attack and defense. Not to mention it suits Cisse, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Jonas etc etc a lot more. As England showed at the Euros showed 4-4-2 is fine without the ball, but in possession you lack options to go forward properly which is where 4-3-3 excels. There have been many teams in the history of football who have been f***ing sublime going forwards playing a 4-4-2 system. We were one of them. It depends on our personnel next year but there's nothing wrong with playing 2 strikers up top, and you certainly don't "lack options". We aren't Barcelona and we aren't going to try and monopolise possession. History of football is irrelevant. In Today's game a lot of teams play 3 in midfield so it's only natural that they would keep possession better as they have more options. The main reason we struggled with possession for most of last season was because we played 4-4-2. Again the team's in the Euro's that played 4-4-2 struggled to keep possession it's no coincidence it's just not a system designed to keep possession. Besides all that is irrelevant, i'm arguing the point of 4-3-3 because i feel the majority of our player's suit it more than 4-4-2. If we had flying wingers and fullbacks who don't treat the ball like a bomb is going to explode at their feet then i'd think differently but we don't. Doesn't mean we shouldn't play 4-4-2 at all, depending on the situation and opposition we should switch up our tactics. Just that 4-3-3 suit's the majority of the squad the most and quite frankly should be the main system we use. Regardless if it doesn't suit Demba.

It does'nt, infact it's fair ( some could argue it's underpriced) but we don't usually pay what's fair. I suppose it depends how much we get for Simpson, if we get 5m for example it wouldn't surprise me to see us spend 8m on Debuchy.
-
Doubt we would pay that, but i expect us to be able to meet half way with Lille if i'm honest.
-
Good, hurry up and stump up the cash. Then we can focus on getting Debuchy and the others we need.
-
The only one's with even an ounce of ability in that list are Faurlin and Taarabt. Faurlin has just come back from a very bad injury, so who knows if he will be the same player he was before his injury. Meanwhile Taarabt is someone who makes Nasri look like an ideal pro.
-
Was he a plan at all? Yeah i was thinking that too, i think the plan was a CB, RB and a striker. If other deals come along that fit what we are looking for, on the playing side and financial side we will probably be open to a move there too.
-
Majority of the squad is quite frankly.
-
i don't think hoilett was ever a realistic thing. Yeah, i was just basing it off Pardew's quotes. So hopefully it's a striker, CB and Debuchy.
