Absolutely pumelled. Like they've had anal sex with a chip shop sausage. Crusty as f***. I quite fancy a chip shop sausage now you've mentioned them

Legend for us, wasn't aware he was known outside of Spain. Always been a bit of a Barca fan myself, without sounding too glory hunter-ish, so know a bit about their history and great players etc. Btw V.I. I've seen a few sources saying that Muniesa will come in to play left back, what do you reckon?

The one of his reaction to Gary Speed's passing where he'd made his wife film him in their house. "So... er... Lee..."

Well Guardiola is just wrong on this one. Nice of him though. That's got to have stuck in Jose's craw. Looking forward to the Copa del Rey final, should be a humdinger.

Is the reason why the mackems are so intent on getting to Wembley really because it is the stadium with the most toilets in the world?

Video from Zonal Marking on Cabaye & Tiote (and Guthrie's) central midfield partnership from the Arsenal game. http://www.zonalmarking.net/2012/03/15/tiote-cabaye/ Also get well soon Eric.

Agreed, even by taking the throw then losing possession he puts himself out of position and has a lot of work to do. You often see teams who have a throw in passing the ball between players before taking it, usually this is to let the winger take the throw, allowing the fullback to be in position should the team lose the ball from the throw. Aside from that, didn't he make two of his goal-line saves/clearances tonight?

I wish I could somehow fluke myself a career in football like Ali Dia or Andy Carroll.

I suppose there's a line between workrate and saving some of your energy and running for actually attacking the other team. See: Jonas. EDIT: what they said ^ ^ ^ The main thing that bothers me about his 'workrate' is that when he's running towards players to close them down his arms do this weird thing of being horizontally out yet sort-of windmilling. It's almost as if he's swimming towards opponents. Like when you wade into the sea and are between walking and swimming and use your arms to keep your upper body moving forwards.

Don't say we're going to replace him with fucking Bebe.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

Would've gone for more of a --------------Ba---------------- ------------------------Ben Arfa -Jonas-----Cabaye----------- ---------Guthrie---- Tiote----- Midfield three shoring up the centre of the park while giving Cabaye license to attack more, Jonas concentrating more on his duties stopping the f***ing onslaught coming down our right hand side and covering for Cabaye when he goes forward, Ben Arfa coming in from the right to support Ba and cause problems. But we all know best. -
The times we'll have the ball and he'll find himself in a little bit of space, or he'll lay it off and make a run to get it back, only to lose it because he wasn't looking back for the ball arriving. Like, how is it possible to get yourself in a position to receive the ball, then not actually go about receiving it?
