  1. Still no leak of an away strip or even a mention of the colours but continuing on with my belief that it'll be red, Liverpool confirmed their away strip this week in their 125th season. lt is similar colouring to their first choice of home colours in the 1892 season.

  2. There was some mention of a 2nd screen going up a little time ago as well.  The only logical place can be beside the executive boxes in the Gallowgate/Milburn corner.  Obviously we'll find out although that smell of the steps after it's repaint last Summer never went away all season, so hopefully it's nowt as bold.

  3. Was in Hexham meself yesterday afternoon and saw neebody but street sellers trying to sell 'cheap' internet although I had me eye on a couple of recliners in Beales.  Was nice and warm weather I may add.  Saw a few plates of cars going past that would suggest those inside weren't on benefits and may be of star status.

More news when I get it................

  4. The white version of The 3 Degrees.  Sturgeon, Boyle and Krankie.  Probably been posted before mind.

  5. Never liked Mike Ashley and had many an argument with people defending him early doors.. But now he has give me what I wanted from the start.

A manager who knows how to run a club and has a plan for the future, can train and try to bring out the best of what we have. While Ashley takes a back seat and backs the manager.

He is where he should be "invisible"

I will give him credit when/if Rafa is allowed to accomplish his goal of taking us somewhere decent without interfering.

The nail on the head for me.  Ashley is tolerated because he is invisible and that's how owners should be.      Hopefully this lasts because if it does, we'll have a better chance of being the club we want us to be.

As soon as or if Ashley gets involved then it'll all come crashing down.

  6. Had nee renewal letter but the payments are still coming out me bank.  On reading that NUFC article on renewing and then logging into the official site, there's no clarification as to whether you have to do anything or it's just continuing.  Seems like new flash website but still some of the old crew running it.

  7. The 10 year deal ends in the 2021/22 season but there will surely be another to follow for various reasons.

On one hand the financial gains may only prosper the supporter due to the difference in premier riches and the take on the gate but getting more arses on seats gives the impression to overseas fans that everything is rosey in the NUFC garden when most of the time it isn't.

  8. As long as everyone just keeps cool this Summer and just allows things to sort themselves out on the transfer front then we'll be fine next season.

The last thing we need is any sort of pressure when supposed transfer targets dont materialise and it puts Rafa on the back foot because I make it more than 50 names linked now. I'll be surprised if 2 or 3 of them are genuine targets.

  9. Which Far East country? Might just be easier for me.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to be exact. You can get the wonga one easily but this was from one store that had a bunch of other clubs jerseys too, not just the popular ones. I'm sure there was one reputable seller selling the blue orange away kit from this season without wonga I'll try find it and post back here if I do.

    Edit: Found it.

Now that is a thing of beauty.

I actually think the West Brom strip is a bit cack.  The sponsor name just blends into it and makes it look a bit rushed.

  11. I'll be honest, with the euphoria and excitement starting with the little teases and leaks of the home kit until it's unveiling, it's been exciting and I got caught up with it. Now I'm a bit excited to see what Puma and ultimately the club have in store for the away and 3rd kit. What did Lil' Mike ask from Puma for those I wonder? He wanted simplicity for the home kit and Puma obliged.

Seeing this will be 125 year anivessary kits, hoping we do go down memory lane and pull out some classic favourite designs. Yellow/green, maroon/blue hooped, the early Asics kits, there's some potential for Puma to sell shitloads if they wanted to.

I still think there'll be a red away kit based on nowt but the fact that it was the first colour of us in our merging as 'United' back in 1892.  If it isn't and it's a 2nd and 3rd kit based on our most famous change kits then we're struggling because it will then depend on which age group you are in.

In recent years the obvious choice is the Ginola modelled burgundy and blue hooped kit but to those of us that remember the days of SuperMac, and funnily enough he is in the home strip video, it'll be a remake of this shirt with the light blue shorts.

  12. Just another cock getting paid for fuck all.  I dont think ive seen one opinion from a proper NUFC fan that expects anything above survival next time out.    A project by Rafa needs growing gradually. I think the majority get that.

  13. Just wait until a red away kit is launched to coincide with the first ever kit NUFC had in it's present name, which we wore at home.

It'll look something like this with white shorts if it happens with our badges obviously.

  14. From what I can gather, we're getting the same amount of sponsorship cash for a shorter period.  The alleged £24m coming over 3 years rather than 4.  In comparison, the £6m a season becomes £8m, so just a £2m increase.

Still, enough to pressure wash the stadium now and then.

  15. If the strip isnt soaked with sweat or covered with mud due to some players lack of effort then how it looks now will be the least of our concerns.

Even if Gok Wan designed the twat, we'd still get complaints.
