I think Bruno is up there with my favourite player ever.

Draw would be nice here. If one team has to win I'd prefer it was Liverpool.
Draw would be ideal - keep both teams below us

Time to get rid of Salah? ?

TAA great at attacking - not so great at defending
-
Liverpool just haven't got going this season

Hopefully the performance on Sunday will help convince players to join.

Pulisic Pedro and Paqueta
That would be a Dream window. Dan make it happen please.

I think what today has shown - we shouldn't fear anyone.

The ref tried his best... bless him.
Worst referring I have seen in a long time. Totally inconsistent with this fouls/bookings.

Living proof we can match anyone on our day. Defence was ropey but it'll come with time
Tbf - Man City are just different class. All their players are constantly on the move, and you have a master lock picker in KDB. I think the 1st goal was poor but the second two were just brilliant movement from City.

Just to add a little urgency to the look for a striker

Pope for England cracking performance lad. The rest of the team played brilliantly aswell.
MOTM for me - without him we'd have lost.

Wew ... Bernardo is a different breed man.
The only guy I can think of that I have seen play all those positions well that we may be able to get is Brandt from Dortmund.
Bernardo was utter class today.

Just got back - I think it's a testament to how well we played that I am disappointed with a draw. I think if there was one glaring thing today hopefully highlighted to the owners is the lack of depth in the squad. The players looked shattered - they gave it their all but there just was no quality on the bench to bring on. We defo need a couple more players.

First I've read we're after both Sarr and Pedro https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1658075/Newcastle-transfer-news-Joao-Pedro-Ismaila-Sarr-Watford-Aston-Villa

Anyone actually played the game? £65 seems a bit steep for a deck of cards......or is there more in the box?

Journalist Keith Downie has claimed that Newcastle United have about £20m to spend as a down payment on an ‘attacking recruit’ this summer.
Like he knows

Pulisic - loan (no brainer for me, he can play all across front line) and Paqueta (Sadly think paper talk) or Maddison - then we're sorted.

Not sure I understand why Real would even want him.
Theyve already signed 2 central midfielders who will be Frances midfield for the next decade.

he might just nudge the hierarchy and say he's happy here and ask them what they're doing to match his ambitions.
That is it - it is one thing to get a player like Bruno to the club it is another to keep them.

I don't know why, but after looking at his background how he started out as a defensive midfielder, only switching later to an attacking mid, before then becoming a striker late on in his career before joining Watford waiting for Visa clearance, it sounds like he doesn't really have a solid position that he's always played?
You mean like Joelinton? I don't think that worked out too badly.

Harry Kane's the best example I can think of. He went from:
5 in 18 in League One
7 in 22 in the Championship
2 in 13 in the Championship
3 in 10 in the Premier League
to
21 in 34 in the Premier League
and the rest we know.
Others I can think of are Sterling at Liverpool and early Man City and Torres at Atletico Madrid, his record was good but he was a bit wasteful, then he went ballistic at Liverpool.
Vardy took a while to get going as well.
It also helps when they're playing with better players - we have one of the best midfielders in the PL to feed him.
