I feel it's a missed opportunity if we don't sign anybody, we have to keep the momentum going. We have clear gaps that need addressing - notably upfront and if we don't address them we are leaving ourselves short.

Who knows what we really bid tbh but clearly the club has a set amount of cash that they can spend and there are several positions that we need to strengthen. Maybe it was also to test Leicesters resolve, as they do need to sell in order to buy. Also maybe they were hoping to turn Maddisons head so he would ask for the move.
