He does a lot of the dirty work which people seem to be forgetting, Yes he is one footed, yes he isn't the best in the final 3rd, but his press is second to none and his tracking back is phenomenal. His game is so much more than assisting and scoring goals, the work he does helps others assist, and score goals.  He also helps prevent the opposition scoring goals with his tracking back. 

I feel people are singling him out a bit here - he scored only just last week. The whole team is misfiring at the minute which means we are creating less chances.

He defo isn't fully fit - certainly isn't making the runs he was doing at the start of the season

Him returning will coincide with our form improving.

I blame Lascelles - Tripps is a different player with the armband.  He needs to give it back to Tripps.

The sickening part is we gifted them the game - Chelsea didn't win it.

Tripps stats were the best in all the leagues a couple of months back.  A player doesn't decline that quickly - he just needs a rest. A proper rest.
