  1. It's so f***ing ominous. Looks like it's genuinely written in the stars.

I still think we'll draw 1-1 and Man Utd will beat Hull. Which would be utterly pathetic but enough to stay up.

I just cannot see it.  Already resigned to us going down - Carver will be rubbing his hands with glee - job will be his.

  2. Every scoreline - no matter how improbable or illogical - is conspiring against us. Hull won't beat Man Utd? They bloody hell will.

Hull at home against a Man U team with nothing to play for, no Rooney, No De Gea, Missing Firing Van Persie…..we're down.

  3. They're the luckiest god damn team on this planet. The past few weeks have been astonishingly lucky for them.

We're just destined to go down.  Writing was on the wall as soon as John 'I am the best coach in the world' Carver took charge.

  4. Just want some hope for the future. Doesn't have to be a world class manager, doesn't have to be huge spending on world class players, far from it. But the club as it stands right now needs to be gutted in all aspects, a reasonable investment made in the coaching and playing staff and most importantly a change in direction from the top. A commitment to trying our best, trying to win every competition we enter. Everyone knows we'll not win but that isn't the point and never has been.

There's simply no sign of the requisite changes happening. No hope. And that's what kills me.

Never thought I'd be jealous of Boro - but in Aitor Karanka they've a young up and coming Manager.

  5. Douglas tweeting that he knows for a fact that Remi Garde and Paco Jemez both want the job.

    Sign him up....PLEASE

Jemez has something of a chip on his shoulder in that regard. In his playing days he was a central defender, capped by Spain 21 times, but always wanted to be a midfielder. He once admitted that “when a coach asked me to kick the ball long I f***ing hated it, because what I liked was playing football”. That disdain for the long ball ensures his Rayo regularly chart high in the possession stakes, and with an average of 59.5% in La Liga they finished only second in that regard behind Barcelona last season.
