this won't happen if we didn't lose 6-0 and 4-0, that's -10 in GD for your information. right now i just want to curse at someone, fark it!
this wouldn't happen if Pardew wasn't a manager

First goal wins this..

Wigan's fan has been in fine voice this evening.
lol - they don't deserve to be in the Premier League. We've more fans on away games.
-
Just switched match on now - what did I miss? Swansea battered at Wigans goal?
-
Laudrup springs to mind as a manager who had no experience of UK football. Didn't do so bad did he?

One thing I liked about being in the Championship was I felt more connected with the club. You felt the players that were there cared and wanted to give their all. Same can't be said of the Premiership - it's too much of a business - too much money in the game. People come not because they love the club but because it's the best offer at the time. And to be honest I don't care so long as they give 110% in each and every game. But sadly that doesn't happen - more often that not it is these players who go missing once the going gets tough. What is upsetting at the minute despite Pardews shocking tactics is that there seems to be no unity within the squad - no real fight to get us out of trouble. You cannot say our squad lacks the quality as it is full of Internationals but what the last three matches have shown is that they could take it or leave it if we stayed up. Against West Ham I didn't see one player busting a gut.
Most of the players know if that if we go down they'll not need to worry themselves about the Championship as they'll be easily able to get a move back to the PL or another top Euro league.
After having seen Gary Nevilles analysis of Newcastle I kind of agree with him - it's all when and good when you're playing well but when the going got tough they've gone missing.

Pardew puts faith in Ben Arfa’s fitness
He's defo carrying a few extra pounds...
-
He actually says a championship club would do him tbf
He obviously wants to come here.
touche lol
-
'What have you learnt about yourserlf Alan'
'Im disappointed with some of the press pack'
LOL - aye in other words nothing.
-
Amazing some people still have faith in the bloke. Hard to imagine but t'is true.

It's utterly pointless "resting" HBA now. We've got 2 games left? What's the point? Just decreases the amount of time that is left for him to get up to speed. Even at 70% he's still one of the only ones left who can create out of nothing.
No time left I'm afraid. Risk/Reward type situation.
I've rather Ben Arfa at 10% than Shola at 100%.
-
A must win game and he's happy with a point. Says it all. Yes we kept a clean sheet and after letting in 9 goals in two games that's massively important. BUT at this stage not enough !!
-
Would have rather Alan Campbell came on...would have added some pace to the attack.
Think they said Shola has scored 2 goals in 44 games...says it all.
-
If we stay up this season it'll purely down to luck. Yet again his second half subs killed the game. Shola for Ben Arfa, then Gosling (who has no match fitness) as opposed to Anita - give us a break.
-
It's a good side if it's sent out to play quick passing football, I just hope Pardew isn't going to send them out to defend deep then launch long balls towards Cisse. That will be suicide.
Agreed.

What kind of football do Montpellier play?
