  1. Haha, was just about to post PNE already a goal up. I get WBA goal notifications on my phone now for some reason
  2. Yep, all that money spent and Steve Cooper still starting. Thought he was a lot older than 31 mind.
  3. Well this is only either adding more to his price, or bringing more teams to the table. You've got to fear for Forest.
  4. Felt like it was coming. And that's now surely game over.
  5. Been a really good start to the match. High tempo and action at both ends.
  6. They'll likely know their audience, and it's somewhat understandable and to be expected, but at the same time, it's ridiculous how when it's Man Utd vs Liverpool the other Monday night, they come on air at 6.30pm and have 90 mins build up dedicated to the big match. Yesterday, SSN was all derby day in the morning and the full hour from 1-2pm was previewing the match. Now when it's Leicester vs Forest, an East Midlands derby, bottom vs 2nd bottom, loads at stake, 7-7.30pm is Manchester derby reaction, 7.30-7.45 is discussing Liverpool and TAA - they finally talked about tonight's match at 7.47 and then went for a break literally 2 minutes later
  7. West Brom could do worse than getting him in. Exact same points return this season as the main man, but 7 years younger, more stock in the bank from last season, and more recent accomplishments. I'd far rather have Wilder in. A bit of a shame the way it went. Don't mind Boro and it looked a really good fit last season, immediately turned them around, that cup run was fantastic, but it's obviously not gone too well either side of the season end. Wonder who they bring in?
  8. Juventus vs Bologna Lens vs Lyon Portland vs LAFC None of them (that I have access to) look the most appealing to me, although will probably still have one on in the background.
  9. I'm actually quite enjoying this match in a strange way. Hoping Leeds hang on, so I guess that makes it a bit more interesting for me.
  10. Great 1-4 away win. This c*nt should be nowhere near my radar, but I was more pleased with Swansea's winner than disappointed with Fulham's consolation which almost happened simultaneously.
  11. It is in a way, obviously the situation from the other week, and gets a bit boring if the top two win every week, but realistically, we'll be a hell of a lot nearer Brighton's points total than we are Liverpool, so good that they're probably no longer getting any unexpected bonus points.
  12. Luton ahead in side 6 minutes, unlucky own goal. Hull currently on a bad run of forum. Edit - didn't realise Hull had gotten rid of Shota Arveladze. He sounded a broken man during their last defeat, and gave a poor interview, so not a massive surprise.
  13. Yeah, switching over to Hull vs Luton now that the Bayern match looks done and dusted. Always had a soft sport for Leverkusen stretching back to CM 97/98 as a young'un and remember getting a strip at Penrith market not long after, but they're well off the pace this year. This Championship match is not very appealing on paper, probably among the 10 least attractive on paper IMO, but hopefully it'll deliver. At least there's some very eye-catching fixtures over the rest of the weekend.
  14. Bruno, Pope, Trippier (probably), Schaar, and now Kuol - any other NUFC players that will likely be off to Qatar? It will be really interesting seeing Garang if he gets his chance in cameos.
  15. This was a good interview with BT Sports Lynsey Hipgrave. I was almost going to put it in the Steve Bruce thread because her face around the 46:00 mark cracked me up with he was referenced
  16. Fair play to him for going down. It's a trek down to Lincoln and much different to getting a Metro to Kingston Park where you might see a few famous faces, or get an interview with Amanda or Mehrdad. It's obviously part of his job to keep putting out content, particularly during the international break, but still a good effort especially when it would become apparent very early on that it wasn't much of a contest.

Italy not qualifying for the 2018 World Cup, winning Euro '2020', and then not qualifying again for the 2022 World Cup, must be one of the most peculiar things in world football. Absolutely crazy.

A local young lad getting a few questions there before the anthems. Couldn't quite tell what part of the north east he was from.

There's 7 or 8 others who haven't started as well as they would have liked, it's certainly not just worselves...
  20. Atleti vs Real live on ITV4 at 8pm tonight as part of the 10 game deal. Definitely feel far more obliged to watch with it being on a free channel for some reason
  21. Fair play to Wolves fans. Miserable afternoon, worst possible start, just conceded a third goal a minute ago, but still gave a very good applause on the 70th minute.
  22. If you type in Forest Fulham on Twitter one of the first posts will be the match with English comms and perfect quality. 2,700 currently watching. Not been watching it all, but it's been there whenever I have checked - very surprised it hasn't been taken down.
