  1. Funny how he keeps complaining about Rennes players diving
  2. Waged also cost money
  3. Babel seems to have been decent for Fulham since coming in
  4. One of my favourite goals ever
  5. That Dalot kid not worth a chance?
  6. I don’t think Pogba was that good for France either like. He basically just showed he was capable of putting in a decent defensive shift over the short term of a tournament, not like he had many amazing attacking moments. Their win was built on their defending and then Griezmann and Mbappe
  7. The world cup win perhaps adds a bit of commercial value but transfer value? Na. People have won world cups and then transferred for bugger all in future seasons so I don't think that adds a huge (if any) value imho. I'd say he's been very poor overall value and would maintain that you overpaid for him. Turning up when he wants would give any buyer a major risk factor to build into the deal/price too. He's hardly Mr Consistent which is the minimum you should expect when your paying out that much money. We did get £30m for Sissoko after the Euros like. I don't really like Pogba that much as a player but I think he'd be very good for a team where's he's not necessarily the main man. He doesn't get on the ball enough to be a main man
  8. From when the shot is taken, not sure on the left/right footed one. Are people sure about that 11% btw? Seems a bit mad looking at that shot again
  9. That’s an exercise worth repeating for us and you guys tbh - might give it a think. From a Man Utd perspective, I'd probably go; Out 1. Pogba 2. Herrera (assuming he's leaving rather than me choosing to flog him) 3. Sanchez 4. Fred IN 1. Wan Bissaka 2. Illaramendi 3. Sancho 4. Alderwiereld Starting 11 would then be: De Gea AWB Alderwiereld Lindelof Shaw Illarendi Mata/Lingaard Sancho Lukaku Rashford Martial Illaramendi would have quite a job on his hands in that midfield
  10. Plus transfer fees have gone even more mental since he moved to Man Utd
  11. Exactly, its a 4% chance a normal player scores from there. It shows how good Messi is at finishing that people weren't surprised that he scored Doesn’t that rather highlight the xG score for the Sissoko chance as a problem though? How? Well people’s (tongue-in-cheek) argument about why the score for the Sissoko chance was so low was because he’s shite in those situations. The point is to rate the quality of the chance regardless of player, so that just makes 11% seem more erroneous. No, it was low because the average player has an 11% chance of scoring from that position if that is indeed correct, its done on an average of everyone. The data wouldn't be big enough to do an individual one on each player
  12. Would not agree that they are completely fine in midfield and attack even if they kept Herrera like

  14. Agree, Zidane seems to like him though and I guess he'll make back what he cost in marketing, etc.

  16. Doumbia played less than a half an hour in total, we don't know how good or bad he was. Its a bit harsh like because he's obviously a decent player who was just going through a bad patch but based just on his time here Luuk de Jong was by far the worst I have seen
  17. He's scored the most combined goals + assists in the league as well as creating the second most chances and the most man of the match awards in the league. He's been pretty much a one man attack all season. Just because he has occasional games where he is absolutely miles ahead of everyone else in the league doesn't mean he isn't consistently excellent anyway It does however mean that he shouldn't be in the team of the season, which is what was being suggested. He's up against Sterling, Mane, and Aguero. He's not getting in ahead of them. Those players are goalscorers. Hazard is Chelsea's Messi, though obviously not as good. He does everything I see what you're saying, but I don't think him being a talisman because the rest of the Chelsea XI aren't up to that level really changes anything. He's always been like that. Mane, Aguero, Sterling, Son are great players but they're on the shoulder of the last man/penalty box players IMO. Hazard's scoring nearly as much as them, assisting much more than them and having a much greater impact on the game overall IMO That's the argument for him being their talisman though. Man City and Liverpool have others to share the workload and Spurs have Kane. Chelsea have Hazard and that's it at that level. Aye, but that way he plays is why I think he's a much better player than those players. Its like Messi vs. Ronaldo

  21. Aye people forget that we had already had a big upturn in form when Atsu came into the team when we changed system
  22. Absolutely nobody cares. Please stop
  23. Who are the pundits they have on air? Carragher for Liverpool, then is it Gary Neville for Man U? Who’s on for Man City? Genuine question (not a facetious one yet). They have Joe Hart in the studio
