  1. I'll look back at Colo with fondness in future
  2. Eamon: Who wrote it? Bill: Uhh, I can't remember Eamon: I'll tell ya who wrote it Bill, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran off and left his wife for a young one Is the greatest exchange/line in television history
  3. As a note of warning, Damien Duff is on there tonight
  4. Didi Hamaan bang on on RTE. "Anti football" "embarrassing" "dreadful"
  5. They’ll probably go through regardless but 0-0 is not a good result away from home in the CL
  6. For a bloke who played in Spain he's absolutely clueless about teams trying to play patient football
  7. That's cos so many of the pundits are mates with managers and players. You should look up some Eamon Dunphy quotes if you're looking for someone not afraid to offend anyone
  8. Great save but he shouldn't have a chance of saving it
  9. Correa has the posture of a world beater
  10. On the subject of shit pundits, Ray Wilkins said today that Sevilla would finish in the bottom 6 of the PL
  11. 100 Brazilian caps, yeah total washout of a career that. Wasn't a total washout at Real, in an odd time for them, and was decent enough for AC Milan. Think there are plenty of players knocking around currently that are of equal, if not worse hype:substance ratio Careers taken a turn for worse of late, appealing a conviction of gang rape in Italy The hype was far bigger than what his career's been, I'm not saying he didn't achieve like. The hype was pre-Barca Neymar level before his transfer. Yeah can get that. He was fairly decent mind for Santos mind. Think he's just one of those players that sees football and his career in it for the earning potential it can have for himself and his family/having Kia Jorabchian as an agent. So never had the attitude to push his talent to the world class levels it could have achieved whilst he's still earning millions. Aye, he's Brazilian
  12. Cos nobody really watches the Bundesliga much
  13. They'd have to make it impossible to have Messi and Ronaldo
  14. Just the 20 goals in 34 games this season. 'Shite' You obviously know I'm just winding you up like I do think he's a bit on the downward trend, mind. 3 goals in 16 games in the CL for the last two seasons. Think he was poor before you said anything but been canny since you mentioned it
  15. It's a closed shop now really. One great season is doable but then you'll lose all your players like Monaco
  16. Broken play tbf. They've handled him very well overall
  17. Azplicueta is great but made an absolute hash of that
  18. Its not the same at all. Aguero's job is to play a physical sport where he's running around and the adrenaline is pumping. Also it would be more like if a customer went into a shop and went around the back of the counter and started shouting at you in an aggressive manner Would still probably be sacked like. I was trying to highlight my key point - When you’re supposedly a professional, you should act like one. Which I still stand by. Obviously the good people of NO have hyperboled my point, but that’s all I was trying to point out. Again, I’m not demanding he is in big trouble for it or suggesting he has ‘given him a haymaker’, the laws of the game are fairly clear and that’s a red card/banable offence. With it being a fan he did it to, I’d expect the punishment is harsher than normal. To ban him I think they'd have to see what had gone on before the bit the cameras caught. Don't think the punch is conclusive
