It's not pedantic at all, you said we tried to flog him, we didn't. You were wrong, just accept it Ever heard of sarcasm, mild exaggeration, embellishment to poke continued fun at the regime? Is Mike Ashley actually a cockney bastard? Get a life.

That's not being pessimistic, its making stuff up I also authored and backdated the following articles: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/ayoze-perez-latest-tottenham-consider-tabling-15m-bid-for-newcastles-young-striker-10481214.html http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/602051/Tottenham-Newcastle-Ayoze-Perez-West-Brom-Saido-Berahino-Transfer-News-Gossip http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3217462/Tottenham-look-Newcastle-striker-Ayoze-Perez-prepare-launch-15m-bid.html So yes, colour me pessimistic. Whether you believe those stories were true or not, this regime cannot be trusted when it realizes it has talent it can cash in on. Anyways, I'm gonna go back to making stuff up. The link wasn't made up, you saying we tried to flog him was making stuff up

Agree that he is poor in general play but I don't see any rapid decline in him. He's just the same as he has been the last two or three years to me
-
Generally the way it works alright
-
That's the only role I could see him in
-
36 goals in 160 appearances in his career
-
Why is everybody deciding Cisse is done all of a sudden? His last game was just a typical Cisse performance. Missed a couple of chances which he generally does and might have scored if he wasn't taken off at half time. Very similar to his performance on the opening day actually
-
Don't disagree with anything in that post actually. He doesn't have good close control and does rely on pace and strength to beat players. He's not a good player on the eye but is generally fairly effective
-
Nothing like a massive exaggeration now and then. Its absolutely true. One of the only goals he got, maybe the only one was when he kicked the ball off his other foot and it somehow looped over the keeper in front of him

He liked playing a sort of supporting role, iirc. Figure out a way to get Riv, Mitro and Perez out there at the same time and shit might happen. Nah he's not good enough to start. Think people are forgetting how bad he was
-
I've heard this a lot but the thing is he wasn't good in France either lately
-
Aye don't know why people complain about the group stage being boring
-
Its funny when someone does it the first time, not when other people copy. Also, Mbemba is a smiling, lovable African while Thauvin is perceived to be an arrogant French man
-
He has clearly created the most chances in our first 7 games like. A lot of that is to do with Perez not playing a lot though. Also I don't really see that he doesn't care or has the heart the size of a pea. Generally what happens is he runs and runs at top speed for about 70 minutes and then is completely fucked for the last 20. Could be wrong but don't remember any left back getting much joy on that side while he's been there which you can't say for the other side
-
Like Santon at DM? Wouldn't really have minded that if Pardew hadn't refused to accept that it failed
-
I like when managers do stuff like that tbh
