  1. Whilst winning a cup and regularly playing decent football. Not s*** at all. I find this revisionism of them well weird Any team that nearly gets relegated every season is s***. Look at how bad we and the Mackems were last season and we and them still survived ahead of them
  2. Think they just lacked intensity. I've seen them play in the leauge and earlier in the season in the CL with much more intensity. Credit to Real for doing a good job, but at the same time Bayern are in just some bad form. Winning the season to early might've loosened them up a little. Think we'll see a much better Bayern next week, if that will be enough I don't know. Do you not think it might be more of a problem with not being able to break down organised defences? Why would it be? They've scored agianst every team they've played this season including Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Unite and City and have scored twice or more against each and everyone of them. Teams always defend against them and they've won the league with plenty of games to play. I think they lacked intensity yesterday and met the best team they've played all season. Let's not forget Real were close to going out to Dortmund despite being 3-0 up in the first leg. From what I understood Pep told his team to be more cautious with the ball because Real are the best on the counter. I think they'll have to force their hands next week and think it'll probably pay off. They didn't break Arsenal down until Arsenal were down to 10 men and only broke down Man Utd in the second half of the second leg. I presume the Chelsea game you are talking about is the super cup final. If I remember that game correctly, Chelsea created far more chances than Bayern Munich until extra time when Chelsea got tired. I don't watch the German league so can't comment on the quality of the defences they come up against there.

  4. he already has, he's won the FA Cup with f***ing Wigan and Everton already have their highest ever points total with three games to go The amount of points doesn't really matter. Well it does if it gets them into the champions league but if they finish 5th it doesn't matter in the slightest.
  5. Yes it made a lot of sense to go for Moyes when he was managing a better team than us and there wasn't a hope in hell of him coming to us
  6. I think football is subjective. I love watching Peps team, I don't think many on here understand just how hard it is to maintain possession that way while creating as much as they do. They weren't good yesterday, but dominating and dictating tempo and possession against possibly the 2nd best team in Europe is impressive. I do agree that it would be a horrible finak though, but that's more down to Chelsea not being a team who counters the same way Real or Atletico does. They're much more slow in their build up and really kill it early on. Atletico have immense pressing and think they could really get the better of Bayern. I think for footballs sake a full Madrid final would be the best, but for me and IMO Bayern v Atletico would be more fun, just as both teams are good at exactly the opposite things. I agree with you that its difficult but just because what they do is difficult to execute doesn't mean that its good to watch. I did enjoy watching Pep's Barca because there was always the chance that Iniesta or Messi would come up with some individual brilliance but this team just don't have that individual brilliance
  7. Then its described as a Mourinho tactical masterclass
  8. I just hope chelsea don't get to the final, I would want it to be atletico vs real. Atletico/Real has its appeal but I REALLY want to see Chelsea vs. Bayern. Jose vs. Pep again. I think Chelsea will win it outright, even with all the injuries. I can't think of many things in life more boring than Chelsea Bayern in the final Some people find fireworks and monster trucks more exciting than the opera and a nice glass of Saint-Émilion's best. Ah so you're one of these purists I keep hearing about

  10. You'd have to question Bayern's ability to break down organised defences after the last few rounds of the champions league
  11. You could almost call it a masterclass.
  12. Isco needs to be taken off here
  13. Oh my God, the guy who is better than Robben has just been taken off in one of Bayern's most important games of the season. What a shock
  14. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Robben is a way better player Depends completely how you look at it. Ribery offers more throughout the pitch, Robben is more dangerous in the final third. If I had to pick one player in my team of the two it would be Ribery every day for what he offers both ways. You're sounding like pardew preferring a winger because he can defend better than another guy way more talented You're only confirming to me what I already know about you. Don't even know why I quoted you, should've learned from earlier. Ah, the old I'm Brazilian so I know more about football than you and can't admit I'm wrong superiority complex from you

  16. I think Carlo is class but I wouldn't say it's been a masterclass. Its as close to a masterclass as you can get What's so funny. Its not his fault that his players are missing sitters. They're playing the European champions and favourites to retain it and haven't let them create a thing while creating loads of chances themselves
  17. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Robben is a way better player

  19. The 4-4-2 is so much better than the 4-5-1 for this type of match. Gives you a real chance on the counter. A 4-5-1 would have the team chasing shadows all the time. Get a break in a 4-4-2 and there's options galore. Its more of a 433 than 442, just with the top three rotating a lot
  20. Up until the goal, Real couldn't deal with Bayern's pressing but since then they've counter attacked brilliantly, look like they'll score every time they get it. Bayern have no ideas, they just keep crossing. Kroos is playing way too deep. Mandzukic anonymous. I'd say they might bring on Muller soon enough. Alaba has probably been their most dangerous player in the first half which says a lot. Their best chances gave come from set pieces
  21. Bayern rattled marra. No cutting edge so far although they did play well up until the goal
  22. Bayern started very well. I think putting di Maria on the right and Isco in the middle is a mistake for Real. Bayern's pressing is working very well, forcing Real to go long. Kroos playing well spreading the play to the flanks
  23. Ronaldo could get some joy up against Rafinha too
