He hired yet? Just listened to a bit of that radio interview - absolutely disgraceful to call this season a write-off at this juncture. Aside from the fact that there is still literally half the season to play, It's essentially pissing in the face of all the fans who have paid for season tickets and those who will continue to show up and support the team every week. I wonder if he would have a problem if nobody turned up to watch our games for the remainder of the season since it's already written off.

Don't like the sound of this Bruno guy
-
That article

Who is that creepy looking old dude? I keep seeing his picture being posted
-
-
fwiw pretty much all the other bookmakers have him as odds-on favourite as well(just had a look at oddschecker) The mood-swing pendulum is heading back in the direction of hope
-
I swear if Carver gets the job I'm done.
-
I don't think I could take it if they finished above us. I've basically spent the last 18 months arguing with my non-Newcastle friends why Pardew is shit and needed to go. I would literally never hear the end of it.
-
We're fucked. I've convinced myself we're going down now.
-
Chronicle seem pretty clueless tbf, basically just report what other papers are saying a day or two later They'll probably have this story up tomorrow And it's definitely possible Carver could get us relegated. Definitely.
-
Knew this was too good to be true We're doomed. Everything is bad forever.
-
That has pissed me off so much. I hate this guy so bad and want to see him fail at everything he does.
-
Come on Spurs ffs, murder this cunt
-
Idk man, not sure I'd want Garde watching us getting hammered and thinking 'no thanks'
-
This all still feels surreal. Feels like I'm gonna wake up and it's still December and Pardew is still manager
-
We have no idea if this was or is the case. Well if we are believing that article it says we've turned to him after McClaren and Galtier turned us down (that they would turn us down in itself is rather worrying, albeit not that surprising)
-
Why was Garde third choice behind Galtier and McClaren?
-
I'm just gonna pretend this is true and really happening
-
Tuchel isn't interested in getting back into management until next year is he? That's what all the papers have been saying anyway. Would love him but if it means waiting til then I'm not so sure. I have patience, usually I would say just wait for the right man but if Sissoko goes soon and Carver is in charge for the rest of the season then I would seriously worry about relegation.

THERE GOES MY HERO WATCH HIM AS HE GOES http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0UMrtWwLQq8/UzHIzLyaNHI/AAAAAAAABng/ILJozLw52FM/s1600/photo+1.GIF

Apparently he'll talk about why he left more during his presser on thursday 'if the press decide they want to know'. Quite surreal seeing his interview after the Dover game and realizing he's not talking about us anymore

Players like Ben Arfa are why we all become fans in the first place. The players who do things the rest of can't do, that thrill us, inspire us and most of all bring excitement and passion to the game. Even last year when Ben Arfa was supposedly the root of all our problems (in Pardew's eyes, and in the eyes of the sheep who follow him), any time he got the ball the entire atmosphere in SJP picked up. A murmur goes around the stadium and people get up on their feet in anticipation. Nobody falls in love with football because of good organization or a solid defensive shape. No kids are gonna watch Gouffran tracking back and say to their dad 'I wanna be like him when I grow up' and then rush down the park as soon as they can to try and imitate it. He had his faults of course, and that isn't to say he should necessarily have been playing every game because of course you have to be pragmatic and tactically astute as well if you want to win games but I will never understand why fans would actually turn on him like they have.
