  1. This is what they've been doing and they will not change because they can't afford too. Too much around that club to allow themselves to give up.
  2. They will fire him into the sun and get someone else in no bother. They will then spend as much as it takes to get back as they have been doing.
  3. Best in class aiming for number 1, give me a break
  4. Ai says this Based strictly on the official annual net-loss figures, Manchester United have lost approximately £257 million over the last three financial years. But announcements and analysis often cite over £300 million in total losses, likely incorporating other costs or interim figures beyond the published year‑end numbers. Compliant with par so allowable losses over this period are 190m
  5. Gut tells me Eddie can't wait to get shut of this cunt given the dress we are being linked too.
  6. Given how things are with psr and our owners, more chance man utd are successful than us tbh. Makes me feel absolutely sick to say that but just being honest as usual.
  7. Don't think we ever made a bid for him so we got a pass. Not sure we were ever seriously in for him, more like leverage to get Burnley to reduce the price for Trafford?
  8. I don't think the numbers are bad from his time at Chelsea tbh. His xg underperformance is bad though and obviously the price is a massive issue.
  9. What have they've achieved though, Leipzig have had your pants down with a daft fee as they would have with us. It's a very expensive gamble.
  10. NGL wife thinks I'm a Yanga Mbiwa.
  11. Yeah I hear you man, what your saying is sort the targets out and stop chasing the premier league experienced high potential players the rest of the cartel goons are.
  12. Tell you what, get that done and the mood does change a bit. Shouldn't be in a mood at all given I've got 2 hours of work left than 10 days in Australia to look forward to but here we are, thank you very much nufc.
  13. It's alreet We've got Harps taking care of that. Best in class.
  14. Does Jackson/strand Larson count?
  15. TBF neither Sandro or Bruno were unearthed talents we just took the plunge first and it worked out well. Both players were full internationals for Brazil and Italy when we signed them playing for 2 massive clubs in the champions League.
  16. Yeah maybe maybe not. This kind of slow progress doesn't help us. Again we were looking for land 3 years ago. It's simply not the action of a club which is pushing as hard as possible. We've absolutely come far but the base was about as low as it could. 14 years of emotional abuse with the club's potential being pissed down the drain obviously takes it toll. The bigger issue is the gap which those 14 years created combined with rules which are obviously absurd. I don't think this summer happens again either but I also think we don't really have a good way to bridge the gap as things stands. I've been warning about this glass ceiling since Everton got those points docked I don't knock your positivity, I envy it intact and my perspective doesn't have much to do with this summer tbh, it's more of a big picture lens I try to take.

This will never happen you need not worry
  18. Yeah it's definitely an unknown as we did have leadership in place until recently and still nothing has been done. That being said, the training ground is just an example of things slipping. If we want to challenge them things cannot slip as the gap is huge. Multiple issues exist and if a new CEO is to be successful he's going to have to mobilise PIF and quickly, it will require levels of engagement from them which to be frank we haven't seen and I don't see any reason why this would change.
  19. Yeah I hear you man, I'm just not convinced it's going to be the game changer we hope. We need PIF to do a lot of heavy lifting if they wish to compete with the cartel and I'm just not seeing that as realistic at this stage. If it was why have they been phoning it? And they've been phoning it In for a long time now. 4 years to find a bit of grass to build a training ground and they still haven't found a bit of grass?
  20. Even if its not true it really doesn't matter
  21. Yeah this is what I hear from A lot of folks understandably, it doesn't quite add up to me though. Financially we have to grow at a rate which is leading to the gap between us and them this isn't really happening so we are kind of in a best of the rest position. League position will obviously have a degree of variance so on our current path (spending up to ffp limits without pushing them) means we yoyo between Europe some years and years not with our top players being plucked away annually.
  22. Sorry to ask but why do you think it's a blip? Or allow me to ask, what are your expectations for the club under our current ownership?
  23. Only football stuff I'm consuming ATM is NO and maybe some Newcastle specific podcast when I'm working. But this place will always reign supreme.
  24. I doubt PIf are reading the British press big Al can't do anything man.
