Thinking he will sell is more wishful thinking tbh
-
was just talking about this with a lad at work, lets assume we sell debuchy this summer, maybe krul and sissoko too plus the unwanteds and we go on to post a record profit.... is he trying to set the club up as an attractive proposition to buyers in that it's profitable? if so he'd have to be selling to someone f***ing stupid 'cause they'd be buying the equivalent of the house at the end of blazing saddles that just collapse as there's nothing but a front supported by rickety pieces of wood Me personally, I think he wants his loan back asap and he'll then seek to sell us - as a PL club but one that has been hollowed out from the inside. TV money will be the major attraction for a new buyer, but it's still going to need significant investment to rebuild after Ashley has finished with us. I've also believed that it's personal on his part (towards us) and has been since Keegan resigned. The club is a shell, it needs it's debts to him gone before anyone will come near. That debt isn't going anywhere imo, It's his leverage for the free advertising. Yup, and why he's going nowhere. If he came out and said I'm selling players and buying replacements on the cheap to repay the money owed, once that's done the club is up for sale I'd welcome every bid for every player and we spent f*** all every window to know he's gone. Yup couldn't agree more

Going to be sitting with £100m in the bank by next summer if it doesnt go against the debt Sure why not, healthy cash reserves for future investments into the playing squad and infrastructure I'd also imagine a profit of around £50+ million next March, will be taxable? As we have all seen with Vodafone Starbucks et al, they have ways around such small inconveniences

Am I allowed to insert the " we tried but couldn't get him over the line" gag?
-
insert obligatory can't get players over the line during the world cup joke here.
-
I forsee another Pardle excuse in that case. Couldn't buy anyone cos Southampton inflated the market. To be fair they could do that to the market although that wouldnt affect us unless they were planning on going after imaginary players too As always, you make me chuckle lol

I'll be interested to see if Southampton plough the money straight back into the team or they try to beat us to the balance sheet league title.

Wonder what Lee is doing
-
Just goes to show the level of stupidity which is prevalent throughout the club
-
Isn't he like 6 foot and quite well built. All the lies we tell..
-
Why not if he will spend his career at the club? They are rich so 30 million isn't that much to them.
-
30 according to Sky. Thank you kindly sir. Sure is a lot of money but if he ends his career at Manchester united then Its good value
-
Is the fee 40million?

Lawro is cracking me up -
Well considering they offered us a pittance for Cabaye what are the odds of another low ball offer from them? They should just buy Aurier though tbf You reap what you sow. I couldn't agree more

No thanks, we need a central midfielder who can score or create not another defensive minded one. I think he's better than Tiote though Hmm do you think he's that much better than Tiote where you'd actually replace him? I just feel we have much bigger problems signing another defensive minded midfielder.

From the man who picks colo and Williamson lol

Lens aren't going to pay what we paid so it won't happen. Due to the wages and fee involved I can't see Yanga heading back to France. Think he'll end up in Turkey or Russia tbh. Yup I think Russia is the likely destination for him personally. Not any clubs worldwide can fork out 8 million for a defender who has barely played for 18 months
-
Considering lacazette and Grenier aren't even at the world cup I see no reason for the delays. Sounds like more bullshit to placate to me
