Long-term, sure, of course I want a ball-playing (oo er) centre-back, but for now I just don't want us to look like we're ready to concede 3+ per game. I think Williamson, with the right protection/people around him, can be an integral part of a steady back-four while the side establishes some grip on its collective defensive responsibilities. True but in effect he will have rejected us twice. Can't really blame him although not sure this injury is genuine. We have zero ambition why on earth would he sign for us. He's done Ashley a massive favour by signing for us imagine how this season would have gone without him
