Snap your hand off for a point from here

I can see why there hasn’t been a massive drop in attendances this season, it’s hard to walk away from Rafa and this group of lads. Rafa is a man of integrity, he believes in the club , he believes in its potential, he believes in us as supporters and he believes in our city. He always mentions the city, the community, he knows how important the club is to the area. Next season shouldn’t be a problem in respect of the stadium emptying, all hell will break loose. It’s good the Ashley out campaign is generating momentum now ahead of next summer.

Such a tragic bloke

Knows Rafa is going and he’s Gambling on him keeping us up again on a shoe string. Stockpile a fair amount of cash and save wages for a yes man to come in next summer, you just know we’ll break our transfer record with some no mark c***in charge. It will be like the Schteeve spending mark II. If we go down we’ll probably have the finanacial resilience to fund a promotion push, and round and round we go

That'll be it, aye. Planted by agents in a huff, f*ck me

We all know what the end game is with Rafa, Ashley, transfers etc etc. Wish it would all just be over so I can get back to hating the club and wanting us to lose. The hope is what kills you, no future with this owner despite the managers best efforts

Article makes it clear we are focused on attacking options though. We need an upgrade or at the very least serious competition for Yedlin

Exciting times for the League one club

Watched a clip of a journo asking Southgate specifically about Shelvey, his response seemed really disingenuous. He said that “we know all about the English players” and never addressed Shelvey personally, he didn’t even say his name back to the interviewer. It’s clear he just doesn’t like him, no chance he’s getting anywhere near England whiles he’s in charge
-
The only way I can ever see him going is if we effectively “done a Sunderland”. Absolutely no way he will go when we are in the PL.
-
To get their man I think they will push the boat out to get him, better than we’d offer. Maybe it’s an over simplistic view but this is Mike Ashley
-
Think we’re burying our heads in the sand if we think he wouldn’t even think about going there. If he’s promised significant funds as being reported and complete control then he’d go imo. If talks don’t work out here of course, which we know is a distinct possibility

Read that Boro would be looking for no less than £20 million for him. Guess that’s what a relegated defender whose team failed to gain promotion goes for these days

Creased at the Jeffers frame

Urgh, did we need to hear from this lying c***, took the gloss off a good day
-
How many friendlies are left? Criminal if he’s not even in the preliminary squad, same goes for Jamaal
-
In a way it’s a real shame our current side will never get a crack at these. They are perfect for a derby game, we win when it really matters, togetherness, leadership, graft like f*** and have a manager who is so cool in the big games. Pity

Sell Gayle and Mitrovic, then go all in for this lad and a striker. Get Dub permanently and we’re almost set for next season

Totally get the sentiment and it’s hard to disagree with a lot of it but for me the only place for Newcastle United should be the PL. it’s not about being elitist and it is just great to be able to enjoy winning football matches but for a club of our size anything other than the PL is failure, and being stranded down for years would be agonising.
