Because surely Lyon scouted him, and if he's as terrible as you are trying to make out, then why have they paid over 8-10mil euros for him. I'm not making out he's terrible at all. All I said was that he wasn't the great success at Roma that many of our fans like to think he was (hence his move after one year and mixed opinions amongst Roma fans). Ah right, just like I never said he would be a star at Roma, or a great success. Nice one.

The only people who ever claimed Mapou was playing well for Roma were Newcastle fans... Aye he was s**** except for the performances in Seria A leading to Roma finishing 2nd, Mapou himself scoring a last minute winner against Lazio in the derby. And some decent appearances in the CL against Man City. That's off the top of my head. So 3 specific examples of games you saw, only one of which they actually won and one where his main contribution was not defensive. Sorry for believing the words of the people who regularly watch him. You're an idiot. Typically mature response! Let's be honest, you'd already decided he was gonna be a star for Roma the second he left us so why bother acknowledging the opinions of Roma fans and the fact they've sold him after one season. Or lets look at the fact he's played for Roma and now Lyon. Both in the CL.

Janmaat had a few niggly tackles before the sending off, it always looked likely that he was going to walk at some point and McClaren should have seen that. What's McClaren meant to do, like? Sub him? Righto. Not a manager in the league would've done that. I know I'm taking the p*ss. Soton took Cedric off last week when he was booked and still getting rinsed. Nowt stopping McClaren taking Janmaat off before HT.

Without De Jong on the bench, surely Ayoze or Aarons will come on. -

Think this game will depend on how well our full backs deal with Montero. -
Rodriguez was poor against us, Long came on and scored a goal, not that difficult to understand They're both strikers though. Long offers very little in general play. And Jay Rod has been injured for nearly a year and a half. Once he's fit, Long will get even less game time.

How did they get the pose wrong ffs The index finger

Atleast you have given it time to change. -
Are you on a wind up? There's two posters on those three pages combined that have likened McClaren to Pardew without even a reference to a similarity in style of football. If this is the best you can do you may as well admit you made it up and apologise for being in the wrong. Get in UB

"Williamson has been told that he no longer features in McClaren's first-team plans along with Yoan Gouffran and Haris Vuckic" That subheading is what dreams are made of
