Wasn't Hughton dismissed due to siding with players over bonuses. Not cos of results.
-
Hope he's not offered a new deal, still never learns. Last week was crap, still diving around like a nobhead being snipered, and generally a bellend.
-
He was given a target, cup run & finish top 8. Neither achieved,no target met, bought in own back room, had assurances of a place on board and input into transfer recruitment. He was certainly behind or influencing in the recent window, those before had been pre lined up upon his arrival. He's managed to get nothing right. They have every right to fire him and possibly based on the contract he signed should he fail to make the targets set, they could have inserted clauses that he wouldn't get the full compo based on agreeing to deliver what was required.
-
Replacement lined up? Simpson & Cathro until the end of the season then. What difference would it actually make. Just get the goofy horse teethed fuck out! Can't bare another cluless post/pre match appearance and his daft grin and ridiculous facial expressions. Twat.

Honestly don't think he would do much better. We need someone with charisma and someone that will inspire and motivate our players. Don't see much to think he will be any better than the current shambles. Awful at Manure under pressure, awful in Spain. Brendan Rodgers, Benitez ... getting closer. Neither would touch us with a barge pole. 10 games to go in a relegation fight, charisma is not going to be what we will be doing. Was awful at everton to start with but had them finish around the Euro positions on a number of occasions. I'm not arguing Moyes corner here, but I'm not dreaming and I don't think others should that there is going to be a sir Bob and Keegan third coming. Them days are gone, stabalize rebuid this shambles. Otherwise it's down to the championship, and rid the mercs and start over?

Is 90m on players not pissing money down the drain if he takes us down? Plus the 100m Ashley stands to lose next season in TV money? Come on, Ashley will be sweating, and something will give sooner or later.
-
Completely meaningless. More relevant: won 3 out of 24 Merseyside derbies. True, and also I missed the obvious, he's never managed us vs Mackems. Still if we take McClaren any further we are as good as down.
-
Moyes this week for me, or its too late. 9 days to sort it before Leicester. We can't possibly allow McClaren to go into the Derby when it's so vital we win it. Moyes record vs Mackems is superb. Never lost a game to them. Ashley needs to step in and order Charnley to fire McClaren and just move asap.
-
Was it just me or did Martin Keown seem to say what Alan Shearer really wants to say, or almost said I'll say it for you. Perhaps because of Shearer's connection to us he finds it hard to just be blunt and say McClaren is a shit manager and we should get rid & perhaps out of respect, So Keown just says, " McClaren is a coach not a manager" simple.
-
Don't think I could bare us winning this, then a hiding off Leicester, then going into the Derby with him in charge of a 6 pointer. Then he possibly gets the boot with Simpson left with barely enough games to work a miracle and then we go down and that lot stay up. It should just be lose at the weekend and you're gone. But please God let there be a replacement lined up.

Newcastle United vs AFC Bournemouth Saturday 5th March 3pm (No TV)

This will be typical, ideally McClaren goes if we lose, but no doubt the miss firing Mitrovic suddenly baggs a hat trick and we win and the wanker stays on -
Yes I am. I told my mate that, and he was giving it " oh you can't want us to lose" why the f*** not! McClaren sets up to lose every f***ing week what's the difference. Hope the 9 day gap from our next fixture gives fatty the chance to slap penfold and go get Moyes or Rafa in. I'll give up watching for the rest of this season if he's not dismissed after another defeat though. Seen some stats somewhere, and he's now officially our worst manager of all time. Behind Kinnear,Souness,Carver etc
-
The mail reporting he's lost the dressing room, and players expect him to be dismissed should we lose vs Bournemouth. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3475316/Newcastle-boss-Steve-McClaren-sacked-club-lose-Bournemouth-senior-players-grow-frustrated-reign.html

He will take us down without doubt. Someone needs to just be brave and sack him, 10 games might just be enough to possibly turn things around. Raffa short term has to be considered. Nothing at the weekend has to be dismissal.
-
Unintentional? Fucking hell. If your pissed and think it's ok to drive, the risk is there. You make a choice. If you kill someone the choice to get behind the wheel is intended if you already know your pissed.

Rafa not being courted by Valencia, when Neville gets shot.

http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/644625/Steve-McClaren-Brendan-Rodgers-Newcastle-David-Moyes-Michael-Laudrup-News-Gossip Express claiming 2 games. And make Rodgers & Moyes favorite's. Brendan Rodgers - 5/2 David Moyes - 7/2 Michael Laudrup - 8/1 Nicky Butt - 10/1 Harry Redknapp - 10/1 Tony Pulis - 10/1 Patrick Vieira - 12/1 Frank de Boer - 12/1 Roberto Di Matteo - 12/1 Alan Curbishley - 16/1 Peter Beardsley - 16/1 Christophe Galtier - 16/1 Why is Nicky Butt even listed,never mind 4th?

imagine he was class at being a nonce, would be so bad Jimmy Saville seemed a very good nonce tbf to him. Anyway if this is all the defence has in terms of cross-examining it seems their argument is going to be weak as p*ss. Johnson should have read the Saville guide to noncehood.

This thread was desperate for McClaren to be dismissed this week. The slight mention of Bagpuss and everyone is shitting themselves & to hold on to McClaren. He is out of his depth in the premier league. If people want to see us down and then he gets the boot in the hope we have more time to appoint the right guy to bring us back up don't waste your time. This club appears to act better under pressure. When they have time to make decisions they usually get it wrong. Can't believe some still defending McClaren and blaming the players, rightly the players have been shit, but take his Derby County form into this season, so basically his yearly form, he's terrible. Never wanted the guy from the off, utter stupid naive bellend. A mate not a manager. Moyes. Pearson.
-
Some interesting Moyes stats. http://www.barriesview.com/2013/03/david-moyes-statistics-at-everton This one is interesting. David Moyes is unbeaten in all 15 Premier League meetings with Sunderland. The last time the Black Cats defeated Everton was the last time they faced each other before Moyes took charge.
-
That's very true what Bernard says regarding being reliant on the odd individual, nothing suggest these lafs work for each other. There isn't enough heat on McClaren a the minute, so he will just sail into the next fixture. The press should be all over him, but this is a regular thing with us in the bottom and calling for every managers head, so perhaps they are finally bored with us.
-
Newcastle is obviously too cosmopolitan now. Geet isn't student lingo, or middle class anymore!
-
Keegan is a none starter. Shelve the past.
-
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/steve-mcclaren-given-more-time-10890823 Quick to change it round. Those bellends will write anything. Ashley needs to choose now. Gamble, or lose most of the recent investment and the incoming TV revenue. Its really that simple for him. If he has seriously stepped away from footballing matters like he claims, then Charnley & Co are running a big big risk with McClaren.

Benitez being lined up to replace Neville at Valencia.
