Yeah I've been a tad puzzled by the criticism on here, if anything he just looks slightly anxious, but was building his way into the game, its been played at a frantic tempo end to end, he's had his work cut out. Literally not sure what we could do at LB that would make any difference, Tino has been below his standards of late anyway. -

Refs a bit slow, he's letting the game flow, but missing blatant Forest fouls. -

Third and last

It's strange because prior to signing Gordon, nearly all the focus of our attacking play was from the right, Trippier, Miggy, Bruno. Miggy getting injured, Trippier having a bad spell, and Bruno now playing deeper, and it's all changed. Would be interested to see if Howe could get those three working together again, especially with the return of Tonali.

Can't decide whether he just gets immersed in his environment, and embraces the moment, he's cringe as hell, or just a daft fella in a serious position. When he talks, I just see someone like a character out of the Fast Show. I don't get why other members need to be judged like its a character assassination, they can choose whether they like him, or find him annoying etc, we don't all need to like the same people or things, such a weird forum at times.

Going to stick my neck on the line, and claim although I do belive we are interested in Trafford, we could have thrown the media a red herring while we tie up a big deal.
-
What about who's potentially leaving, or needs to go before the deadline. Matt Targett, Southampton, Fulham, Forest, Brentford, (Nufc.com) Jamal Lewis, Ryan Fraser, Ashby, Dubravka, Do we actually need Dubravka? Trippier, still debatable. Miggy?
-
Not sure what to make of Trippier and Calvert-Lewin swap deal, 🤔 Everton need a RB Dyche loves Trippier, and DCL is entering his final year with no intention to sign a new deal. I don't believe we need DCL, and to lose Trippier would make us then need a RB ?
-
I agree, when Miggy had his best spell, previous seasons, the right pattern of play was Trippier, Miggy, and Bruno, Longstaff would sit deeper, now Bruno sits deeper. Hopefully Tonali coming back will cause Howe to have to think.
-
Both Isak and Gordon, but Gordon knows he would 100% have cut and shot also.
-
Felt we didn't look right in that first half, even when it's tough for Eddie to pick his best side due to players missing through injury or suspension, somehow in my opinion he starts a weaker side than we finish with, I just wish he'd always start with the strongest possible side available, we didn't look like we were doing much, especially in that first half, the subs made a difference, Barnes has to start ahead of Murphy, and if that means Gordon on the right, then so be it, also based off Tinos past two outings we absolutely can't lose Trippier, unless we bring in another RB, having only Tino and Krafth wouldn't be enough.
