  1. It's been bugging me, but I think I've realised who Garnacho reminds me of
  2. No more bald hag after today.
  3. I don't think he was ever in the right shape, his lack of minutes has shown at West Ham, his mental game has declined given the amount of time he spent not playing at City, I can't predict what might have been, but the lad was at his absolute best during Leeds promotion season and their first season in the Premier league under Bielsa, I'd make the assumption that whatever happens next will be similar for him, I think he's a player on the decline, we could go for him, but I very much doubt it. Just my opinion, it's not a matter of being right, plus once you're earning silly wages at man city and you're career goes backwards, it's difficult for clubs to negotiate a salary, he's going to need to reduce his wages for whatever happens next for him, or move to Saudi?
  4. I've always imagined Miggy would go to serie A
  5. You forgot wum and childish Dokko
  6. The Calvert-Lewin nonsense reminds me of Kalvin Phillips, everyone was giving it the big one, then when it didn't happen, and he was a total fail, those same people saying good job he didn't come here
  7. Different player, Ederson looks a typical defensive midfielder, biggest attribute ball winning and fairly decent in the slide tackle, Bruno is a complete midfielder, ill dare say he's the best we've ever had in my time, right now nobody comes close, Cabaye was a pretty decent all rounder, but Bruno I've got ahead of Speed,Lee, and Cabaye. Finding a replacement will cost you close to what his release is, and I don't believe anyone comes in and makes the impact he does. I cant think of any player similar, he's unique. Nicolo Barella would be the choice, but then you're going to break the bank. Incredible player.
  8. https://x.com/Squawka/status/1794042952756478352?t=yRm-JHJOWx2n0ZVbukt5qA&s=19 We couldn't recover from losing a midfielder as crucial as Bruno. Absolutely ridiculous to agree a release clause in the first place.
  9. Joelinton vs Milan was a banger, Bruno volley vs Forest, gourmet technique.
  10. Shahar, Sanusi, and Harrison gone?
  11. Nothing will even happen, we need to get a new director in place, settle this and move on. Just feel its becoming a saga now.
  12. The guy I want to watch in a nufc shirt so bad, looking forward to him in preseason
  13. They Mentioned Kuol will be going and used, has Yankuba been recalled, and will we see him?
  14. Come on man, that was unforgivable, wtf are those weird distorted lines. Now you've pointed it out though, they did make some howlers. Credit to Puma for the 2017 third Black kit, one of my favourites, and they got the striped 18-19 away nearly as good as adidas original 95-96 away. Personal favorite outside Adidas's 95-96 legendary kits, was this Fortunate to own one, hopefully Adidas recreate this beauty.
  15. They're not long gone, castore managed to stick to the tradition with their home kits. Adidas could have gone with the 09/10 template, perfect example of the right balance of stripes. I just don't like it when kits (especially home) drift away from traditional styles. Puma once did something weird with the stripes, 12/13 home, still haunts me now, daft little distorted stripes.
  16. It's safe to assume these are the right ones, with the players pictured. Because the Barnes one that surfaced a month ago looks identical to the image Jack posted.
  17. Why do the outer black stripes need to be shaped, just want a natural black white striped shirt. Stop messing with the shape of a frigging stripe!

    Next season

Palace still have Franca to bring in with Wharton,Olise,Eze,Mateta. Anderson, Guehi and Richards, three decent Centre backs. I was about to say their weak positions are fullback and goalkeeper, but Munoz and Henderson look fairly decent. I think the thing with Palace was having the courage to sack Hodgson, and start to change things, stop playing the likes of Ward,Tomkins,Schlupp, Ayew, all the time, and try and have a younger more talented side. With Palace, and many other teams, once they lose those key players, there's no depth, nobody good enough to cover Eze, Olise, etc. Plus I think they'll struggle to keep key players, Olise,Eze,Guehi, those three are on many teams radar, possibly Anderson.

    Is there any point?

    Next season

What this season has shown us is you need depth, two squads, with real good cover to come in and to be able to compete. Players that are capable of switching positions, City are blessed with players who'll slot into various roles when they get injuries or suspension, or just need to rest players. Arsenal and Liverpool rattled up enough points to win the league themselves with the points they totaled this season, but all three were so tightly contested, with City just having more when it comes to squad depth. While I get behind @Rodpassion and desire, I just feel until we can fuck off this FFP,PSR, bullshit, remove the shackles and bring in the quality needed to play all those games required to be at the top and stay at the top, it's going to be hard. Those other teams have had a head start on us for decades, and let's not forget we had an absolute wanker running us during those times. Our progress has been immense. Quite happy with how things are moving if I'm honest.
  21. Are Chelsea Europa conference also? Or do they go Europa League if we get conference
  22. Man Citys dressing room celebrations looked pathetic, unnatural, soulless shite.
