The issue with those two are their wages, you could probably get 5-6m for Mitro and 2-3m for Colback, but whether you could find any teams who want them and will pay them what we are is another issue. Add in as many of Lazaar, Hanley, Krul, Sels, Darlow, Saviet, Riviere and De Jong as possible, signings dependent, and that's enough for a player or two.
-
Not disagreeing but even in this age of ever increasing sky money/fees/wages, there are still a class of clubs that will have to pay a premium just because of who they are. Stones to City being a prime example of them having to pay way over the odds because of who they are. And Stones is also English, 22 and a full international.

An interesting one for next season would be teams to get relegated. If we spend money and Fulham come up then it will be tough at the bottom. I'd fancy both Fulham and Brighton to give the league a better go than Hull and Boro. Also without Sunderland there isn't an obvious shit team in the league.
-
That makes no sense. Club costs need paying for. That's what I was confused about. Sounds like we're getting f*** all unless we sell players. I assume he's talking about the net figure like. Should be a decent amount as i imagine our wage bill should be quite small. Who can be on any money? Ritchie, Krul, Shelvey, Colback maybe, Gayle maybe, Diame maybe, Mitrovic maybe. Can't see anyone else who is likely to be on over 40K a year.

We're a bigger club and have bigger expectations. Take it as a compliment that the media thinks we should be aiming for top half or better next season. Can't think of any other clubs relegated in my lifetime who the media would take about like this.

Not a surprise that Perez has the top three goal spots. the lad has a nack for being in the right place to finish off a move. He should have played more this season. My only complaint really with Rafa.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

They've been resting players though and i doubt they have a big squad. Them going up would be best because i think it would be most difficult for them to build a PL team. -
Went for Huddersfield as well. Some others had periods of good performance (Brighton 2-1, Norwich 4-3) but thats our only important game i remember us being in complete control of.
-
What about Joe Hart? Depending on the fee obviously.
-
Depends on what our other options are he's been hot and cold all season and 45 minutes vs barnsley doesn't change that, we'll be a PL team next season. If Benitez wanted him for next season surely he would have played more.

What's Louis Theroux doing there?

Imagine magically being shown that picture 18 months ago. We're...we're in the Championship, but Rafa Benitez, the current Real Madrid manager is our manager. truely bizzare. Going from Schteve to this.
-
Disagree like, they're not great or anything but they are harder to beat. No idea how Van Gaals team accumulated points at all, weak as p*ss. I think next season they will have spunked loads more money and some of it will come good like and they'll prolly be top 4. Dunno like there's a lot more competition now. Spurs and Liverpool have momentum at the moment. Man U have spent riddiculous amounts and are still on the slide.

Also I can't see him breaking through at chelsea. no one ever does. A 12 month loan with a release clause may be doable.

And Reading. Imagine two of the playoff teams going into it with negative goal difference. Weird season.

One win will do it. Even on current form there's no way we're not getting that. Its the bloody championship -

We're up. What the f*** is wrong with Reading. They have a habit of periodically succumbing to absolute thrashings anyone know what is the highest any team with a negative goal difference has ever finished in the football league, because Reading are currently fourth with -1 Just had a look at their results and 6 of their 11 defeats were by 3 or more goals, one 7-1, one 5-0, two 3-0, two 4-1
