  1. This (unpopular opinion?) but yeah this.
  2. So your argument is that because there is an offer, he should simply accept it? Why on earth should he settle for a repeat of the last 2 years? His (and the club's) ambitions should be set far higher than just getting by. You've previously called Ashley all sorts and said he's not a fit and proper owner. Why would you give him the benefit of the doubt here? It makes no sense. I'm not giving Ashley the benefit of the doubt, there is no doubt a contract has been offered. In my opinion there should be rules in place to stop clubs being used by owners for their own off field gains & neglecting the true purpose of a football club. I sincerely hope there is a new owner & Rafa is here for many happy years.
  3. No manager gets given everything now, football has changed. Rafa plays the game exceptionally well. If Rafa wants to stay there's a contract on offer, if terms and conditions & all the crap that comes with it is not acceptable then no one will blame him.
  4. Just because someone is prepared to look at things objectively means they are a shill,KBA, pro Ashley ect. There is a contract offer on the table fact. But "If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through"
  5. Except he doesn't, our transfer activity proves that. They might not sign players he doesn't want, but they sure as f*** aren't signing his first choices either. He may never get his first choice but no player comes or goes without Rafa's approval. I think you really need to google the definition of "full control" I never said "full control"

  7. Rafa is important to Mike Ashley's NUFC. He wants to keep him.
  8. "There's £50m, plus the £20m from Gayle. The money's all yours". "Ok thanks, I'd like to use £16.5m to sign Rondon please". "No, he's too old sorry, he has to be under 26". "See you later". The offer includes exceptions to the u26 rule, hopefully Rondon will be one.
  9. The status quo is not perfect nor is it acceptable but at least Rafa is fighting our cause. Rafa has total control of the coaching setup and final say on who comes & goes. It's a good offer & like it or not Ashley has made an effort to keep him.
  10. Ash knows the importance of Rafa to the club & wants to keep him otherwise he wouldn't have offered him a contract. The deal on offer is a good one & a realistic one. If Rafa's contact expires as much as I'd like to we can't blame Ashley forcing him out.
  11. I can't remember where I saw it but I read you can't take ownership of a club less than 10 days before notifying the premier League, essentially a 10 day ratification process this seems to be separate to the so called fit & proper person test.
  12. You can't deduct five years wages from one years budget
  13. Yes it does. Still a good contact
  14. Apparently Rafa has been offered 6m a year 50m transfer budget plus sales & stick to the under 26 rule with possible exceptions. That's a good deal.
  15. New kit looking good, prefer it without the sponsor, love the monochrome bagde
  16. KBA twitter account is protected again
  17. Hmm... Is he implying that these potential buyers want absolute secrecy? Finally someone at the chronicle might have some info but won't share it.
  18. Ben Jacobs was the guy on the Black & White podcast claimed that account was legit
  19. It really doesn’t. The sun just lifted it from Twitter. As it says in the article. Good point, still leaks coming from the PL though
  20. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9274768/premier-league-fixtures-leaked-man-utd-chelsea-arsenal-liverpool-spurs-city/ If this turns out to be true it's clear someone from the premier League is leaking things to the sun
  21. Two greatest words in the English language, tax rebate.
  22. Friday no announcement no transfers no contract, pr smokescreen from ashley bishop
