Unfortunately I think mike is right on this one. You sir, are a rectangle. Rafa made too many demands (same as at previous clubs) he wanted to go to China & signed a pre contract agreement he also applied for the Leicester job. Go form an opinion, research both sides of the argument or failing that just f*** off. There is no evidence to suggest that Rafa applied for the Leicester job, just that he was linked to it. If anything, he turned it down. Rafa has many offers from China before his current job, he even joked about it in one interview. At anytime he could have left NUFC for much bigger pay, he never did. It wasn’t until after 3 years of Ashley when he decided he could no longer fight him, he was even rumoured to be one the one who got Staveley interested in buying the club. Ashley says he went for the money and was never loyal though, and stupid people will believe that. Let’s not forget that it was only a year ago Ashley and Charnley were offering Rafa to the Spanish FA for national managers job. Rafa stayed for the fans. Definitely did apply for Leicester though as he would like to have stayed in England. Rafa informed ashley & charnley he would leave at their meeting in may.

I already knew what Ashley has now said about Rafa & since Rafa left I've learnt new info. People should give it a try. I assure you nobody is falling for the lies. I recommend reading @IntavenusMP

Unfortunately I think mike is right on this one. f*** off Rafa plays politics, always pushing for more. You're right, he does but he always pushes for more for the club first and foremost I actually do think Rafa had settled in China early, but only after it was obvious that it was a lost cause trying to push us forward. Turning down a number of jobs in Europe supports this, but if Ashley had turned round in June and said let's do it 80% your way he'd still be here ? Edit. Forgot to say great explanation of the tax issues earlier.

Unfortunately I think mike is right on this one. He and you have never been more wrong A lot of it is no doubt bullshit but don’t think Rafa is as innocent as everyone thinks he is This. Rafa was a great manager & I was devastated when he left but Rafa puts Rafa first.

A release clause between 24 & 28 million

Providing there's a new owner I could throw my weight behind Arteta, Gerrard, Alegri & Jose. In the case of ashley remaining I don't give a toss.
-
Ashley's u26 rule has works again. if only the football side matched his business model, we could have had it so much better.
-
Just got my neice a Rafa is a Geordie scarf, she's wearing it in July.
-
I was gutted when Keegan left, devastated when Sir Bobby went but I didn't cry, yet here I am in my mid 30s welling up reading Rafa's words.

Still follows Newcastle United on Twitter.

Rafael Benítez is more than just a football manager, he united a divided fan base behind a broken club just by taking the job, he made us love & care again, showed us pride, passion, desire & work ethic. his commitment to the community is the measure of a great man. One of the greatest managers in Newcastle United history, Thank you Rafa

What are they doing then?

If ashley wont sell to a group that make billion dollar invesments he will never sell even a small pecentage to the fans. After 12 years of inacton What have they done with the money collected so far? You'd be better off chucking your pound in the Tyne.
-
Their fan ownership idea is pointless it's never ever going to happen ever.
-
I wouldn't believe anything anyone says on that blog they are all fantasists. Used to read it, don't waste your time.
-
Doesn't matter who the manager is while ashley is owner, nothing does.
-
BZG are the only credible takeover ashley has had he's long wanted 350m for the club & it's finally worth it, yet he all but sacks the manager and ruins the only good thing he's had in 12 years. The club will now only deprecate in value. With BZG getting to somewhere around the fit & proper person test only to be messed around no one will ever attempt to buy Newcastle United ever again.
-
Then what the hell is the game because nothing is working
-
This is it. Today's developments make no sense ashley will never get more than £350m for the club definitely not now Rafa is going. Stupidity doesn't come close.
-
Nothing to suggest Rafa isn't BZG's man.
-
Contract talks ended by ashley, now we can definitely blame ashley forcing him out.
