Some of the worst passing I've ever seen here from the US

Italy should have the best group record and then have the hardest path to the final Belgium have came out of this the luckiest side.

Ramsey has been Wales best player imo.

From what i've seen from him (CL, Euros), he wouldn't get in the side. Don't think he's as good as Kroos or Modric. The other position is opposition specific. If they plan on keeping James and Isco... what would the point be? Pogba is better than James and Isco and for the majority of there games they could get away with Pogba, Kroos and Modric. I think Kroos is the one who suffers the most from not having a DM in the side though, he looked a lot better with Casemiro in there. Pogba is probably the most marketable player they could sign too.

Pedro- "unless I see continuity in my role It's not worth coming here just to make the group. It's difficult to take on this role" Has he alwasy been this much of a knob? He's lucky to even be there

Murphy is the worst.

Fuchs is a solid lb so it makew sense to play him in midfield where he can ifluence the game more.

ITV acting like Ireland still have a chance of going through

Ronaldo has the record for most goals in champions league knockout stages overall, quater finals and semi finals. I presume none of these are big games?

Full backs are a weakness IMO Aye, a lb that offers nothing going forward and a slow cb playing rb.

Gotze is so overrated, can't stand him.

I'm not saying they'd instantly better themselves on the spot, but over time the team would function better as a unit - which is the important thing here because they're not filled with world class players. At the moment they're literally just feeding the ball to Ronaldo hoping for "a bit if magic". That might win them some matches, but no trophies. Need a team for that. Last time they played without him was against Norway before the Euros, no? Won that 3-0. Nah against us when Alves tried to decapitate Harry Kane, so they did play with 10 men a fair bit but I'd think you'd see the exact same agaisnt another well organised side. They only took one out and out striker because their options are so bad. You'd have to drop Ronaldo and play someone else out of position with no goalscoring experience at International level. Moutinho is the only midfielder they have who's scored for them and his record in 4 in 85.

Last time Portugal played without him they had 0 shots on goal. He created the best chance of the game for Nani yesterday as well. Their best striker is Eder ffs and they hardly have the quality to play without a forward. Renato or Adrien Silva for Moutinho and they will look a lot better.

Griezmann is deceptively good in the air, helps when nobody marks him aswell like.
