Fair enough asking price from Forest. We'd expect ourselves to do the same if a club came in for one of our best players. You can't really expect to pay a 'fair' price for a star player from a team that doesn't want/have to sell.

I love Barnes myself and would hope not but both Pedro and Elanga can cover that position. I don't know, just get the impression even when Barnes was in great form he was always one bad performance away from being dropped and he'd always be the one shifted over to the right despite being totally ineffective there.

Wonder if we'll try and shift Barnes this summer?

Calling him a pace merchant is harsh, he's rapid but his delivery is quality as well. Think him and Isak would combine really well.
