what the hell happened to Vension anyway? He used to do regularly football punditry but disappeared ages ago. Suddenly just went to America, to do with property or something.
-
Might not buy four but still bring in four players, but two would be loans. Buying two, Silmani from Leicester might be a loan striker as they don't use him, maybe a left back on loan too, can see us buying a proper 10.

Bit of both i think.

Did you get a bang on the head recently? evidently I don't understand what you're trying to say there though like? Both strikers had done well and it looked like it was going to be a draw. Suddenly we needed a goal and we brought him on. Not that hard to understand "i don't trust you to score in 90 minutes, so get on there and score in the 4 minutes that are left" Chuck Shelvey on or someone you play and at least have a bit of faith in. Makes no sense to me throwing Mitro on when he clearly hates him But every manager throws on a big lad up top when they need a goal Threw Pique up top for Barca when they were losing in a CL semi once I recall Fair point, well made i must say.

Dunno why but i like him, alongside Lascelles is something that might settle him down. Enough there for me to see a decent player, despite the poor start.

What's confusing you? He came on at the end and we were 3-2 down. Turns out he came on in the 89th min Well, a manager will tend to bung on a big striker when you're 2-3 down with a couple of minutes to go like.

January is everything to this.
-
Worked really hard, had a poor game, kids young like, that'll happen.
-
They are totally relevant, no one is paying 300 million for a champo club, no one. I meant coming into January, if we go down then obviously it's a different matter. I just mean our form now isn't a concern if you intend to buy now, should have made that clearer like.

The argument always seems to be pardew, rafa, ashley transfers etc etc. Burnley have a totally average squad and a far less decorated manager who is making the best of it. Burnley are a big well organised side who defend well. Newcastle fans would never accept if Rafa went down that route, far more expectation here. We already do don't we ? We're not an exciting team in any way, we play fairly defensive football a lot of the time, don't we ?
-
I think the results are irrelevant, the stadium, training ground, manager and fans tell anyone who wants to buys us just what the future holds, if you get it right.
-
Unfortunately the step up in level has found out what we all knew, deep down like.
-
Sentiment is good, problem is it's utter bollocks.
-
We've got the England Under 20's world cup winning GK sitting on his arse, he cannot be worse than these two fuck ups. And don't give me that shit about being too young, good enough is old enough.
-
He needs to stay on his feet the fucking pillock, goes to ground far too quickly, mind you merino did a lot tonight as well.
-
He's making mistakes but you don't get rid of him when he has his first poor run. He's top class and will get through it if he's backed properly, which in where lies the problem.
-
Right Rafa stop fucking about and get this lad in the team, and don't give me none of that bollocks he can't play in a two. He did all last season and was excellent alongside Merino against liverpool in a two earlier this season. He's our creative player, our only one. Stop leaving him on the bench please ffs.
-
True but doesn't explain leaving Shelvey that does it, if you're so short on quality you don't really leave out your one creative player. If it's because he doesn't trust Shelvey in a two then make it a three and even then, he bloody well trusted Shelvey in a two against Liverpool, i think the no trust in a two is utter bollocks.

Where was Clark for the 3rd goal? Perez shouldn't have been the last man surely? Clark followed Lejeune over toward Vardy and at no stage looked over his shoulder, Clark is poor at this level, very poor. He's gone missing a lot in the last few games. Makes you realise how much he relied on Lascelles for leadership. Aye, the whole team has missed the skipper to be fair but Clark is crap at this level, not that it'll happen but it should be Mbemba with Lascelles. Think it'll be Lejeune and Lascelles in the midweek mind.
-
At the end there Atsu had the chance to cross it with a big space between their line and GK, and he turned back on his left and lost possession, i was going mental.

Conceded an average of 3 goals per game in the last 5 games. Classic relegation form. Luckily we aren't at the half way stage yet.
