We can't score hence we'll lose unless we hold out for a 0-0. Utterly boring and abysmal game. 2-0 loss.

Sounds like you convinced him and anyone else on the premise. Fair point

I was talking to Tony Cottee earlier (as you do). And I gave him both barrels about us not being mental as the Southern press make out, I told him what we really expect not the Champions League bollocks and maybe mentioning that next time he's on SSN talking about us. That and Merson was a fuck nugget. Must have thought I was mental, then I got chucked out of the department for being too scruffy. Meh.

Funnily enough that very reason can't be used for our Striker. In fairness to Lukaku though at least he has a history of scoring goals Fair point

Aye it was a rocket of a shot like.

Fecking hell what a goal
-
He had the hump because the ref (rightly imo) gave a foul against him on King i think shortly before his booking, he was still annoyed. It's daft because it was a foul. Never understand footballers going mental when they clearly foul someone and think they haven't. He was annoyed because the ref didn't give a foul after he went to ground very easily and the ref gave a corner. Ref was correct. I'm talking about Shelvey's booking, not Lejeune's mate

Theirs to lose imo. They're just so good going forward it's scary.

Pretty sure this conversation comes up every year about now

5 points off 5th I like that but it's a tad optimistic seeing the fixtures we have coming up. 0-0 and appalling game against Man Utd, beat Watford at home. Same as the Man Utd game for West Brom away. 5 points from 3. Decent Well i think more the next 10 or so but i like your thinking too, not confident that's likely with the way we can't score but you never know.

Conte being a bit of twat there, Jose waiting for him he's walked off. Pair of fannies

I wonder what Merson's thoughts on him now are. You're assuming he has a brain ? i would think the rabbit working the controls is like

That's such a cowards tackle from cuntermole then. Hard man my arse.

Aye, it was dissent - for some reason. He gestured towards the ref when he wasn't given the foul (which is wasn't imo). Shelvey got the same later on for clapping the ref when he gave a foul away. LeJeune's booking was so harsh it's untrue, the gesture wasn't even insulting or sarcastic like Shelvey's was. Thing that'll annoy me is today we'll see loads more of them and the refs do nothing.

That bright sunshine that shone out his arse is dimming dramatically. He's making poor decisions. He doesn't get everything right, but ffs we're midtable with easily one of the worst squads in the league. People need to realise how bad we are and how little Rafa has to work with (and how insanely lucky we are to have him) He's been let down with funds that's without a doubt but 8 of the starters he bought, and two who came on he also bought. Not his first choices obviously but still players he identified. I think what frustrates more is the lack of real fluidity, it's boils down to whether that bothers you. I mean Brighton and Huddersfield play more attractive football imo but I'm not sure they'll finish above us (we need a striker badly next window or we're in for very tough time going into the new year). To be honest i don't really care as long as we have 3 teams below us by the end, and we are bought out in the meantime and the new owners go on to fund Rafa properly. Give him proper money and we'll be much better and play much better stuff, saying that though he's made some baffling choices tactically and in team selections, then again don't all managers though.

Atsu came off injured i think, on the commentary they said he went straight down the tunnel for treatment.
-
Totally agree, but just imo it doesn't apply to Mbemba or Gamez, both were far better at LB and yet can't in the team ahead of Manquillo who's awful. Mitro granted has lost Rafa's trust but the other two haven't (well unless something has gone on we don't know about, and i know Mbemba did last season but not this from his performances as limited as they were at LB).

A great man always has certain flaws.
-
He certainly has his favourites, sometimes to the detriment of the team as we're seeing. We have to accept it as it's just him and his style of management, we aren't complaining about him ditching Colback. He can be a frustrating manager that's for sure, as we can see alternatives to Manquillo, Perez and Joselu, whereas Colback is an alternative for no one. I'm simply seeing this as a long term thing, it'll be OK but we need goals that's for certain.

Why? If Ashley's still here we'll be going with what we've got. I'm hoping he isn't, and if he is i'm hoping we'll spend a bit. That's a lot of hope i grant you, don't really want to think about the alternative. Alternative is in all possibility relegation but the fat cunt has proven twice now that it doesn't give a shit. I did say i didn't want to really think about, you're a cruel man
